Unexpected win
Bathing myself in the street lights, i sauntered down the pavement that leads to the other town. Sinking into the evening air, I immerse myself into the tranquility of the environment. It has been long since I had set my foot on these streets. All that battling, battling against work and time, had drained out every single strand of my energy. Being able to even enjoy the cloister neighborhood was a rare chance, a precious moment. My muscles relaxed as the evening breeze caressed my face, entwining my mahogany brown hair into a messy ruffle. A gentle smile appeared across my pale face as i embraced this moment. The moment of peace. The sweet taste of the unexpected win lingering in my tongue as that moment of victory unlocked itself in my memories and swept itself across my mind.
