Ibu Sees the Way, the Truth and the Light and Yuuta Goes One Step Further Up The Stairway To Heaven
Takes place the day after this convo between yuutafuji and needstospeakup where Yuuta convinces Ibu to give Christianity a go.

Yuuta: *stands around in front of the school chapel with his hands shoved into his pockets. Spots Ibu coming his way and raises a hand in greeting* Hey, Ibu-kun!
Ibu: *walks up next to Yuuta and stop* Oh hello Yuuta-san how are you did you wait long I'm sorry for taking so long to get here my mom made me give my dog a bath and then she kept making me do other chores and what the point of vacuuming anyway more dust just shows up next week...
Yuuta: *tries not to look annoyed as Ibu-rambles on and on and on* That's fine, Ibu-kun. I'm happy that you made it! Are you ready to find your Salvation in the Lord Our God?
Ibu: Yes I am Yuuta-kun I wonder will it hurt because I don't really like pain so I hope it won't hurt but then again if it hurts then they wouldn't be able to put together a school based on this stuff so it probably won't hurt...
Yuuta: The process will be relatively painless, Ibu-kun! *hands Ibu brochures with titles like "Yes! Jesus Loves You!" and "The Path to Righteousness and Eternal Life"*
Yuuta: Shall we go meet Father Tanaka, then?
Ibu: *takes brochure and studies the front cover silently* Yes let's go meet this Father Tanaka Yuuta-kun I want to get on this path so I can be righteous and have eternal life that sound like fun....
Yuuta: *nods* You've made the right choice, Ibu-kun! *leads Ibu up the stairs and into the chapel. Dips fingers into the Holy Water inside the Font a.k.a the big bowl of Holy Water and looks at Ibu to make sure that he copies him*
Ibu: *stares first at the font then at Yuuta cluelessly*
Ibu: Why is there a big bowl of water here and why are you using your fingers instead of a cup isn't that a little unsanitary Yuuta-san and why can't there just be water bottles instead of a giant bowl that would be much easier...
Yuuta: This isn't for drinking, Ibu-san! It's Holy Water! Special water that's been consecrated by priests and which washes your sins away! You dip your finger in it like this *dips finger into the holy water* And then make the sign of the cross! *crosses self*. This is a sign that you're opening yourself up to The Lord!
Ibu: Wow it sounds so important Yuuta-san I feel like I shouldn't touch it but I guess since you told me to then I'm supposed to so I guess it's okay....
Ibu: *scoops water out with two hands and splashes it on his face then makes the cross with one of his wet hands*
Yuuta: *stares at the dripping Ibu* We don't usually use that much, Ibu-kun. But that's all right! You're learning as we go along! *leads Ibu down the aisle to the pew at the very front of the chapel, where a robed figure is sitting, waiting for them*
Father Tanaka: *stands when Yuuta greets him politely and beams at Ibu when he sees him* Why Yuuta! You have such pretty friends! You must do your best to bring more of them for me to meet and become friendly with! *holds hand out towards Ibu*
Ibu: *shakes Father's hand* Um hello Father Tanaka it's nice to meet you I hope you can teach me about this religion stuff since I'd like to learn but I don't know much...
Father Tanaka: *pets Ibu's hand tenderly and pulls him towards the pew.* Come, sit, my precious child! We have much to talk about! You can sit on my other side, Yuuta! Let's make a Father Tanaka sandwich!
Yuuta: *does as he is asked, leaving a bit of a distance between him and the Father*
Ibu: *does as Father Tanaka says and sits next to him, confused* Why would we make a sandwich out of you that'd be very painful to have to slice you up and put you on bread I don't know why you would want to do that is it part of this religion thing...
Father Tanaka: *laughs* How cute! And what an inquisitive mind you have! Come sit closer, Ibu-kun! *pats the space between them invitingly* you too, Yuuta-kun!
Yuuta: *slides closer*

Ibu: Are you going to trun me into a lamb I don't want to turn into an animal that would be weird and then I couldn't play tennis anymore because lambs can't hold rackets and that would be horrible...
Father Tanaka: *rests a hand reassuringly on Ibu's thigh* I will do nothing that you don't want me to, Ibu-kun! Do you have any questions that you'd like to ask me? Yuuta-kun informed me that you were interested in Becoming One With The Lord?
Ibu: What is Becoming One With The Lord is it like getting smushed together or something that sounds weird but then maybe we could become an oreo cookie and that wouldn't be so bad I like oreos...
Father Tanaka: It is like opening yourself up to him completely and accepting him into your life, Ibu-kun! It is like accepting a lover who will never leave your side, and who will be a part of your life for all of eternity!
Yuuta: *nods along the entire time*
Ibu: Wow I'll get a lover from all this that's cool and that doesn't sounds so hard to do just opening up not like smushing use together like an oreo...
Father Tanaka: *grabs Ibu and crushes him in a hug* Exactly like that, my dear, dear boy!
Ibu: Um Father-san you're hurting me it's hard to breathe I think I'm gonna die please let go...
Father Tanaka: *hangs on for a few more seconds, but lets go eventually* Once you are officially part of the flock, Ibu-kun, I shall have to see you once in a while, to make sure that you are living your life the way that God would want you to! We'd have to work very closely with each other, and you'll have to take confession, where you will tell me all of your deepest, darkest secrets! You can tell me everything, Ibu-kun. Ibu: Well I don't really have much to tell but I did look in the locker room a few days ago but I don't really know if that counts but I hope it doesn't because I didn't do it on purpose it's just that Kamio was changing and...

Yuuta: He's right. I've told him about all of my funny dreams about my brother and Mizuki and Akazawa-senpai, and sometimes the Kisarazu-twins, and he's always listened. He even made me go through them again and again and again to make sure that he'd heard everything, and could properly cleanse me of all of my sins during absolution.
Ibu: Well it wasn't really confusing I just thought that Kamio was really hot and yeah I guess it was pleasing but I was too busy staring to really notice...

Yuuta: It means that Father has to cleanse you with the Holy Water, Ibu-kun! I'm so happy that you've made this decision to start a new life!
Ibu: Oh so that's what it means then yes I'm ready for that...
Father Tanaka: *stands and leads the two boys to the huge marble font near the altar* Take your shirt off, Ibu-kun! We wouldn't want such a lovely thing getting wet!
Ibu: *does as he is told and takes his shirt off and hands it to Yuuta*
Yuuta: *takes the shirt. He is misty eyed as he remembers his own baptism*
Father Tanaka: *pauses to admire Ibu. Licks lips, then remembers what he's supposed to be doing. Positions Ibu before the font and begins to rattle of long, Latin words, with Yuuta speaking up to respond to him whenever he pauses*
Ibu: *gets bored*
Father Tanaka: *reaches the end of the long, boring prayer* In the name of the father, and of the son, and of the Holy Spirit! *grabs Ibu by the back of his head and dunks him face first upon the Holy water in the Font* AMEN!
Yuuta: AMEN!
Ibu: *gurgle*
Father Tanaka: *continues to hold Ibu under the water as he prays over the new lamb in God's flock*
Ibu: *holds breath*
Yuuta: *beginning to look slightly concerned*
Ibu: *confused*
Ibu: straightens up and breathes heavily*
Father Tanaka: *opens his arms invitingly to Ibu* You are now one of God's Chosen Ones, my boy! Welcome! Welcome! Come here and give me a hug!)
Ibu: *does as he's told because he figures it's part of the ritual*
Father Tanaka: *beckons for Yuuta to come join them in the group hug*
Yuuta: *embraces Ibu as he himself is embraced by Father Tanaka*
Father Tanaka: *lovingly caresses the two athletic young bodies in his arms*
