So
Golden Corral was offering a free meal for Veterans yesterday. Since I'm a Veteran, I decided to join in on the fun. Unfortunately, the closest GC is the one in Bensalem. And the last time I tried to eat there, the line was pretty long and I didn't feel like waiting that long to eat.
When I got there last night, it was pretty neat that they had two fire trucks with ladders extended into an "X" and hanging a big American flag in celebration of the festivities so to speak. But when I walked up to the actual restaurant, the line stretched around the friggin' building! I did get in line to see how long the wait would be, but after a half hour with the line not even budging, I gave up on that. I didn't need a free meal that much!
Also watched the
live-action Tekken movie. It was bad, but not horrible. Maybe after seeing the
absolutely worst video game movie adaptation ever, my expectations may have been set to an all new low, so take that as you will. At the very least, the girls in this one were hotter than the ones in
DOA (the fights were better too, but did anyone really care about that when watching DOA?)
What's funny though, is I was watching this with Kev, Paul, Dave and Mike, and Mike had already seen it. He was very against having to watch it again since he thought it was crap. He's going to be in for a rude awakening after we make him watch
absolutely worst video game movie adaptation ever next week XD XD XD
