Well, I certainly want to check this out . . .
My friend Mike introduced me to Fishbone back in the early 90s. Their mix of Funk, Soul, Punk and Rock were right up my alley. They were a damn good band, but like most good bands, they were their own worst enemies (as alluded to in that trailer.)
They certainly were talented though, as shown here in this, my favorite song by them (listen to that slap bass!) . . .
Fishbone - "Lemon Meringue"
The title of the documentary is one of their best songs as well . . .
And while those songs are heavy on the funk and soul, they certainly weren't against rocking out when they wanted . . .
So yeah . . . if you're a fan of music without boundaries, might be worth your time!
