For those who love really bad movies
Exhumed Films to screen Troll 2 in 35mm!
Only saw some of the middle and the end of that at Cabincon in the Cold™ a few weeks ago. Seemed supremely stupid just from what I saw. Christina/icequeenkitty said it was directed by Italians, and boy howdy, do I know what stupid movies there are created by Italian directors. Little did I know that after I finally decided to look this movie up to find out that it was directed by Claudio Fragasso.
Fragasso has to be, hands down, the worst writer/director/producer to ever come out of Italy. I mean, when Italian schlockmeister, Lucio Fulci, leaves the production of a movie because he can't stand the producer/scriptwriter (Fragasso of course, on the incredibly stupid Zombi 3) you know there's something horrifically special about this guy.
I mean, who else would think up a movie like Rats: The Night of Terror--a post-apocalyptic rat horror movie. But as we can see, he was only getting started!
Unfortunately, I won't be able to watch Troll 2 on the big screen as I'll be busy watching Tron: Legacy that night. Sorry Claudio! Priorities, ya know?
EDIT: A Civil War era zombie movie? Sign me up!
