The Zombie king going Giallo?
With George A. Romero's next zombie film, Survival of the Dead, only 10 days away from release, there this crazy bit o' news of Romero now planning to do a 3D remake of his buddy, Dario Argento's classic giallo, Profondo Rosso (AKA: Deep Red or The Hatchet Murders):

Dario's brother, Claudio, will be penning the script, but Dario will not be involved. This just kinda blows my mind a bit as I am a fan of both Argento and Romero. Only thing is, Romero doesn't have the visual style that Argento has, so I have reservations about this.
