Phillies Announcer Harry Kalas dies at 73

I'm not the biggest Phillies fan, but if you're from the Philly area, you know who Harry Kalas is. His voice in entrenched in the area.

I'll never forget the call when Brad Lidge threw the last strike to win the World Series last year. I was with Val coming back from Sonic for some foods after helping her move into her new apartment.

"Swing and a miss--STRUCK HIM OUT!!! The Phillies are the 2008 World Champions of Baseball!!!!!"

He'll be missed.

I'm sure his good friend, and my Sunday wake up program, Sid Mark and Sinatra will have a lot to say about his passing.
