I need to buy a new bookmark
So I've gotten through about the 1st 100 pages or so of Let the Right One in by John Ajvide Lindqvist (the novel upon which the movie of the same name was based.) All's I've got to say is that there's stuff I've read so far that if they tried to include it in the movie, it would have earned an NC-17 rating or worse (and I don't only mean because of gore.)
And for some self-indulgent Laserdisc-related junk, I was asked by a few people on YouTube about what Laserdisc players I used for my videos (since I included on almost all of my videos on there that they were "captured from Laserdisc.") I shot this little video, similar to some other people's videos on YouTube, doing a test run of the Laserdisc player and whatnot:
Also made this one which compares the Opening Animations for the 1st Tenchi Muyo OVA series from the Original American Laserdisc release and from the THX Remastered Japanese Laserdisc Re-Release (which was used for the basis of the DVD box set which was released here some years ago.) Can you see and hear the differences?
