Thanksgiving was, of course, fattening. My aunt made home made pecan pie . . . which is to fucking die for. Can't pass that up, even if I'm already full of ham, turkey, stuffing, sweet potatoes, string beans, biscuits, etc.
Eagles won. Huzzah! See what the team can do when you actually RUN THE DAMNED BALL?!? If they can do that against the Jints this upcoming weekend, I have some modicum of hope for them (though highly unlikely.)
Though I still say either Andy Reid or Donovan McNabb or both are gone by next season.
Didn't go out for Bleak Friday. No deals really caught my eye that were worth my waking up early for. The story about the Walmart worker who got trampled and died of a heart attack in Long Island is f'ed up, but not as far-feched as one would think. I remember last year as I was waiting in line at an OfficeMax at 6AM, people were getting rowdy as some people we seemingly trying to cut in line.
Watched the first two hours of the
Gettysburg Collector's Edition Laserdisc box set with Dave. Now we only have two and a half hours to go!
Helped my brother purchase a new computer. Found a fairly nice Lenovo Desktop for $350 from Microcenter. Now he can stop bugging me to use my laptop to check his email everytime I come over.
Went to see
Let the Right One in again with Dave, Krys, Kev, Fran, Hannah and Tom in tow. I'm serious, if you like vampire movies at all, you need to make the drive out to your closest art house theatre and see this.
TL/DR: In other words, this was a pretty relaxing holiday . . .
