I semi-lurked around long enough to realize that there is lj-drama kicking up again (and by that I mean I read my f!list for the first time in a week today), but I'm going to promptly ignore it all. ;; So. That set aside

Lyn/Florina; HesitationyuulinMarch 25 2008, 23:28:23 UTC
Florina was a timid girl. It was a quality she herself could hardly deny, and it was a quality she always wished she could somehow better. In that respect, she always looked up to her sisters. But above all, she looked up to Lyn. Lyn was everything she had dreamed she wanted to be: beautiful, strong, fearless, gentle, and kind. Sometimes Florina would blush at the mere thought, bringing her hands up to her cheeks to hide the tints of pink that began to flower there. She had to be braver so that she could someday be like Lyn, someday protect Lyn, and someday be able to properly stand by her side.
Until then, Florina was determined to follow behind her without hesitation, even if it was that very hesitation that prevented her from getting too close. But she believed Lyn would understand her feelings because it was Lyn and she always understood

If you're not familiar with Canas and Nino's interactions I can send you their support convos... 'cus you need to note that Canas is Nino's uncle (like, by blood) but it takes them a while to figure it out.

[[ Not enough Nino! DDDx I apologize. ]]
--------------
For a long time, Jaffar had wondered when and how it had happened. That was, how he began to realize that Nino was too good for the likes of him. After the war, Canas had formally brought her back into their family, and she resumed being brought up in their noble house and continue to grow more into the noble woman Jaffar had always knew she would become. While he was silently grateful for the positive turn in life for his…his friend, he did constantly have the incessant urge to disappear from it all. He was just an assassin; a murder with the blood of hundreds on his hands. He didn’t deserve to be in Nino’s noble life anymore. It would only have been another stain

Nice piece, but there's one or two canonical errors -- firstly, her parents are both dead, as is her brother, so there's no family to go back to sans Canas's -- and his mother (as seen in FE6) is kinda' a mountain hermit.
