Unexpected Decisions
Yup, new segment I like to call Coming Up Next. This works like Character Theory in which I ramble on about things pertaining to the title.
Okay so what is Unexpected Decisions? Well, it was inspired by all the stories I was seeing on FF.net about Rin deciding go with Sesshomaru. Of the ones I've seen, she's never really given insight into her decisions. I've read a few where the villagers were abusive and rude but beyond that, it's basically Rin chooses to go with Sesshomaru because... No reasoning is given. I like reasoning okay. I will weigh the upsides and the downsides to any decision I make. I've learned the hard way about not doing so. Yeah, dropping out of high-school was the greatest decision in the world but of course, that was of the the few decisions I've ever made in my life where didn't way the upsides and the downsides. It came on a whim and I just did it. Now I'm 23, jobless and living in my parents basement because I'm flat broke. I love my parents because they don't me but I feel like a burden. Hey, at least I have a connection to all my younger siblings, all 13 of them. Yeah, there was a bit of a gap between me and them. Anyways, in most of these stories, there are no reasons for her decisions. It's like she does them on a whim and then pays for it later because someone's being mean and hateful. In the end, the bad guy is silence and everything is happy ever after. I don't agree with it and I'm assuming that in reality, there would be a lot of downsides to this whimsical decision.
