Synopsis:
Keiko Kitagawa plays Izumi, a modern young women who received a letter from an American, whose grandfather was a naval commander in World War II and hold a music sheet with her grandmother's name on it. Then she met an old man who used to be under Izumi's grandfather (Tamaki Hiroshi) command during the war 64 years earlier, and he told the story behind the music sheet, her grandparents, and how actually the music sheet could be in the American's hand... The film recounts events of the epic sea battle between Japan's submarines and America's battleship.
