Happy Aussie Day!!
Well, looks like the weather today is just perfect for an early BBQ on Scarborough Beach and late picnic on Mill Point. So far the plan is just perfect. And one more thing! I'll get a haircut I've been longing for since this summer start XDDDD It's not a fancy one, I just simply need a shorter haircut because humidity always mess my hairstyle up everytime =.= I don't even know why this year's summer is soooooo humid somehow.
Anyway, if you don't know what is Australia Day, basically it's like a birthday celebration. Lots of events going around and the peak is tonight with a what-we-called-it-here Sky Works which-in-normal-way-is-called Fireworks =P
What I think makes this Aussie Day Sky Works is different is because we watch it from across the river. They will fire the fireworks from on top of Perth skyscrapers. People will have a picnic on Mill Point (which is the place across the river opposite of city) and the music which will play along with the fireworks will be broadcast from radios so they will bring it along and listen to it while watching the Sky Works.
I still remember 2 years ago is my first time to watch Aussie Day Sky Works with another friend because the other group got lost and ended up watched it somewhere else it was 25th birthday of the Sky Works, I think. Moreover it is the exact same day with Chinese New Year. So they have it longer than usual (that's what people told me later on).
Aaaaa~ So excited!!! XDDDDD
Hoya!! One more I almost forgot!!
My group of friends who are going to do BBQ with me are some Japanese, some Japanese language students, and the rest are tag-alongs. Since almost all of us are associate with Japanese culture, we'll have yakisoba and okonomiyaki too for BBQ apart from meats and sausages =Db
