A/N: This fic is based on Yuto-kun drama Shared House. Here, all of JUMP member’s age only 1 year different.Yabu and Takaki 20 years. Kei, Hikaru and Daiki 19 years. Seven 18 years.
Chapter 10: 2 Years After
"Kei, have you finished it?" A guy around his forty asking him in english. "I'm still worked at it. The design should finished today so, I'll sent it tomorrow." Kei said in is english too. "Good. I have an high expectation towards you since you are my best student." He tapped Kei's shoulder gently before leaving him. Kei smiled while say 'Yosh' because of the expectation from his lecturer. It is indeed he was the best student from Architect major. He hopes that he can get a first-class honoured in it. He run in the hallway before stopped. He looked at the wide blue sky while smiled. "How are you up there, Ryosuke-kun?"
It have been two years since then. Kei can live his life to the fullest with Ryosuke heart in his body beating and telling him that every beat that beating is so important to him. It is important since the heart is belong to someone who have been like his real brother a years ago. It's telling him too that he's still alive. For Kei, it was the best present for him from Ryosuke. The Yamada's family too happy to see Kei with their son's heart is beating inside of him until they make Kei as their adopted son. Kei gladly accept it.At first, when they told Kei that the donor was from Ryosuke, he can't believe it.
~Flashback 2 years ago~
"Yuto-kun..." Kei open his eyes but not fully and saw Yuto beside him. Yuto immediately push the red button at the top of the bed. After a while, Shijima came in and make a check up. He sigh in relieve after make a check up towards Kei. Kei is not fully recovered yet but, for now he's okay. After that, Kei's family barge in and his mother immediately hug him. "I'm glad you have wake. I'm so glad." The tears of happiness flowing out from the corner of her eyes. "Kei nii-chan, okaeri~" His sister, Keiri greet him with a wide smiled plaster on her faces.
"Kaa-san, why am I still live? Didn't I have a short time already?" He said as the other from shared house come in. They too was happy to see that Kei finally has wake. "Ne, kaa-san. Why? Can you tell me." He begged towards his family. "Soshite, Ryosuke-kun wa? I want to meet him." They all shocked when Kei said that he want to see Ryosuke. "Why... you want to meet with him?" His father asked. "I don't know why but, I just meet with him at my dream. He said that, I must live my life to the fullest and love the one who love me. And, take care of Yuto-kun too. He was so shining brightly. I asked him why but he just keep on going further and further and disappeared and that's when I wake wih Yuto-kun beside me."
They can't say a thing before him. They scared that Kei can't accept the reality that Ryosuke had gone and the one who donor him a heart is him. His father looked at all of them. "First, we'll tell you honestly." All of them just looked down. Kei can felt that the atmosphere suddenly change. "What Yamada Ryosuke-kun say to you is true. You have to live your life to the fullest. Don't regret anything." Kei was left dumbfounded when his father said like that. "Why are you all being so sad?" Kei looked each one of them. "Can you just tell me already where is Ryosuke-kun?" Kei pleading towards them.
His father tapped his shoulder gently and say. "Yamada Ryosuke-kun involved in an accident yesterday and pass away." His father told him finally the truth. Kei widened his eyes after he heard what his father had say. Accident? Pass away? It can't be him right. "Uso deshou?" Kei looked at his father unfortunately, his father shook his head. "In fact, he is the one who give you a new heart. It seemed that he had signed the paper which stated that he’s willing to donor his functioned organs if he died.” His father finished the story but still, he can't believe it.
"It's the truth Inoo-kun." This time, Shijima time to told him. "When he signed the paper, he was willingly to give you his heart. He didn't died on purposely." Before Shijima can coninued, Yuto cut in. "He died because of me. He saving me from being hit by a car." Yuto looked down and cries. Chinen and Daiki walked towards him and give a soothing rubbed at his back. Kei shook his head, unable to believe what his father and doctor told him. He could feel tears accumulating on his eyes, and he let them flow down his face as he kept on denying the truth. He just can’t believe it. That Ryosuke had died.

It have been six days since Kei receive the new heart and a week had passed after Ryosuke had died. Kei refusing to eat, drink or talk to anyone. He being in mourn all day. He knew that he had made all of his family and friend worried, but he can't bring himself to care. A brother-like towards him had just died and his heart is in his body.
"Kei..." He can heard his mother voices calling for him but he ignored her. “Honey, I know that this is hard for you. I understand how you feel, I really do. And you are allowed to mourn over him for a while. After all, you already thought him as your brother right?" Kei was surprised to hear those words coming from his mother’s mouth so he turned to look at his mother. The woman smiled warmly at him, her soft hand reaching out at him and brushed his bangs behind his ears gently. In her eyes, he could see deep love and affection, which he only realized being directed at him. “But you can’t mourn forever.” His mother goes on. “You will have to continue your life. To live to the fullest. For Yamada-kun sake as well. Or do you want to waste his gift for you by being in despair for the rest of your life ? Do you think that Yamada-kun will appreciate it that you make no use of the heart which he gave to you ?” Kei bit his lower lips as he felt tears unconsciously started to fall from his eyes. He looked down and shook his head weakly.
“No, right ?” His mother put her hand on top of his head and caressed it softly. “Kaa-san is sure that Yamada-kun wanted you to move on. So that he won’t regret ever giving you his heart.” His mother console him “B-but, I f-feel like a b-bad person. T-taking what’s h-his so that I c-could live.” Kei stuttered in between his sobs. “I believe he won’t blame you for this. It was an accident. And it was unfortunate that Yamada-kun could not make it. But thanks to him, many people could live for what he gave them. Including you. And I think Yamada-kun will be happy knowing that he could help you and many other people. Don’t you agree ?” Kei just nodded, but his tears just kept on falling. And when his mother pulled him into her warm embrace, Kei felt every walls inside him broke and he cried his hearts out there.

Kei begin to learning to appreciates the present from Ryosuke. A beautiful present for him. So, he make a vow that he and his new heart will move on and live his life to the fullest. Not for him only. For Rysouke sake too. That's why after 4 months being treat snd completely recovered, he told his family and his adopted family, Yamada's family about he want to continued study at England. They agree with his desicion.
A month after, he being sent off by all of them including, his family from the shared house and Shijima, their doctor. He promise them too that he will come back to Japan with a first-class honoured in Architect course. They were so happy for him.
But, it was another story for Nakajima Yuto. He was devastated after Ryosuke has gone from his life. After Kei wake from the deep sleep, he was kind of happy but sad at the same time. He don't know what expression he should have in front of Kei. After Kei have fully recovered, Kei come towards him and say condolence for him after Ryosuke had gone from his life. Yuto just give him a weak smiles.

Yuto still locking himself at his room after Kei had wake. He can't face the older. He can't face him in this stated. He keep on crying day and night. He refuse to eat accept drink. All of them doen't know what to do towards him anymore. They have done so many thing just to make Yuto happy but nothing changes. Yuto keep on locking himself and mourning. They almost give up until Kei who have been discharged from the hospital come to make Yuto come back to his old self.
"Yuto-kun, it's me, Kei. Can I come in?" Yuto can heard a voice that he loves to hear long time ago is now at the outside of his room. Yuto didn't answer and just stay silent at the corner of the room. He hugging his knee while hiding his face. Kei know that Yuto will never open the door so, he turn the doorknob and he was lucky that the doorknob was unlock. "Yuto-kun?" He can't see the younger on the bed and when he looked at the corner of the room, he saw Yuto crouching on the floor.
He walked closely and sit besides him. "Yuto-kun, genki?" He just silent. "I think no." He laugh a bit. "Ne, Yuto-kun, until when you want to keep on mourning? It's not like you, you know?" Kei continued. "I too was devastated over it. But, after my mom console me, I know that I didn't bring only my soul but also Ryosuke-kun soul. You too should being happy like you always do in the past. You should know that you can't live like right now if Ryosuke-kun didn't save you from being hit by the car. Dakara, your life is so important. You have to live for Ryosuke-kun sake too. You should be grateful that he save you if not, you shouldn't be here right now." Kei gripped Yuto's shoulder and make him looked at him at the eyes.
Kei hug him make Yuto startled a little bit. "And so, it's okay to cry. Don't hold it. It'll just make thing worst. Just let it out. All of it. I'll be there for you. Always!" Kei hug him tightly and that make Yuto cries like there's no tomorrow anymore. For the rest of the day, Kei accompany him and comforting him. He also sleep with him on that day. And, just as Kei's situation, as time passed, the sad and quiet Yuto had come back to his natural chara. Being funny, happy, and kind. All of them were so happy for him.

"Kyaa!! Yuto-kun!" A shouting from a fanclub can be heard and following by a music. Yuto start it with a drum solo. Yuto now is studying at Kirin Art College where he enter musical major. The same with Keito that enter the college after Yuto. Hikaru is there already so, they decided they want to make a band. A music and the voices of the three of them make the fangirling goes hystericaly. They were fascinated over them. The other from the shared house are there too cheering them.
"Arigatou gozaimmasu for coming to our concert today! Ja, let's meet again at other day!" Hikaru end the short speech while waving towards all of them. They going to the backstage and greeting by the others. "Osukaresama deshita, you three." Daiki and Chinen give them a towel and mineral water. "Oh, sankyu." Hikaru said and wipe of his sweat. Somebody looking at him admiring his features. "Omaitachi, hontou ni sugoi yo!" Yabu compliment them. "Especially the guitar of course!" He said while pointing at Keito who drinking his water. Keito blushed a bit. "Arigatou, Yabu-kun." Keito said and Hikaru link his hand at Keito neck before shouting. "Yosh! Let's celebrate!!" All of them agree and shouting too.
After arrive at their shared house, Yuto immediately run to his room. "He still doing that even two years has passed, huh?" Takaki sit at the couch. "Uh-huh. Like you don't know Yuto." Daiki said while sit crossing him. "He still hoping and hoping for Kei to know his feeling towards him. He really changes this past two years." Ryutaro said and stand going towrads the kitchen. They just smiled.
For Yuto, he'll always going to his room and lock it. He open the window and the night breeze make him shivering since it's cold. He'll do this everyday. He'll look up on the night skies and croosed his finger while praying. "Ryo-chan, genki? I think you are. Did you see our performance today? Did I look cool? Of course I'm cool right? He-he. Ne Ryo-chan, just like always, I hope you'll blessing me from up there so that I can confess towards Kei oneday. If you ask why I didn't confess to him yet, I'll tell you that I still didn't get enough courage to do. Dakara, I sort of scared if suddenly he rejected me. But, like you say on the letter you write for me, I'll surely make him mine." Yuto chuckling. He closed his eyes and take a deep breath. He open his eyes and smile widely. He closed the window and walked towards his desk before take something from the drawer. It was a letter that he got from Ryosuke sister when she cleaning his brother room.
Dear Nakajima Yuto
If you got this letter, it means I already gone from this world. I'm sorry for leaving you all alone in this world. I know you'll get mad when you know that I have sign the paper for donoring my heart towards Kei-san. I have too, you know? I already know that you have been liking him this whole time yet you denying it. I know that you were so attached towards him that much. The truth is, I'm feeling jealous so much.. But, I can't help it since you have been fall to him. And I did have this suddenly crazy thought you know. Want to know what is it? I really wish how Kei-san never existed in this world so that I can monopoly yiou by myself. I know you'll surely mad at me if I told you this. I'm sorry and tell Kei-san that I'm sorry. Yuto, I know too that the day when Kei-san just have a few days to live, you get into his room, right? I was eavesdrooping that night. I heard that you want to give your heart to him. I was like what the hell are you thinking about? But, when you cries after you going out from the room, I realize that in your heart, there's Inoo Kei only. And I relief that I have sign that paper. So, that you can't transfer your heart to him. I only can wish and give my blessed towards the two of you. I think this is the end of my letter. I just hope you'll always remember about me. Don't forget about our happy, funny, sad moment. You'll always be in my heart even though I have die. After you had go to the other side too, and being reborn, let's get together again.
