(pre-concert before it started)
So yesterday was the Newark JYJ show and I can honestly say that it was one of the best days/concerts I've ever been too, including SMTOWN
So I ended up getting to Newark around 11:30 to meet up with chychaai/Trishie so we could head to NYC to spend the day in KTown and eat a lot of Korean food and well. WE DID *___*
I basically spent almost $40 on food alone and l m a o, was it worth it. When we got off the train and arrived in Ktown, they had this random Bazaar on this one street with a bunch of food and little shops set up on the street to raise money for North Korean refugees. So upon hearing that and then smelling the delicious food, we quickly made a dash to the food tables XD
We ended up getting this amazing ddeok bokki and omg D: it.was.so.good. alkjdhakjsdh Before we left the city, we actually ended up buying more of it BECAUSE IT WAS SO GOOD ;_;
But between that, we went to a restaurant called 큰집 or Large House and had mandu and kalbi and it was just magically delicious lajsdhlakjdh They also gave us this cinnamon tea that I'd had before at a Korean restaurant in Pittsburgh and just ;___; omg. So good.
After that, we walked around and then headed over to a Paris Baguette that was across the street and had some delicious green tea cake and kashkajsdh ugh. I just love green tea, idek. So good :(
I wonder how many times I can say so good BECAUSE IT WAS SO GOOD ;_;
Then we walked around some more and Trishie got food to take back home and then we headed back to Newark a little after 5 so we could get to the Prudential Center around 6 :)

So after a minor mistake in trying to find xradiostatic/Sade and nichkhun/Eru, we got to the Prudential Center and got these little red glow stick bracelets that I think ONETVXQ was handing out.
I would also like to point out that around this point I saw some girls was YunJae signs and was like DDDD: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO but thankfully that was the only time I saw them \O/.
Me and Trishie decided to split up then so we could hanging out with our respective friends before the concert and like ;__; lol I was so happy to meet Sade and Eru. ESPECIALLY SADE SINCE WE'VE KNOWN EACH OTHER FOR TWO YEARS AND JUST T____T It was awesome and it was a good time just chilling in line ♥_♥
Then they finally opened the doors a but after 7 iirc and me and Sade walked around trying to figure out how she could get to the floor when all we had to do was walk down the sections OTL So then we parted ways and I went to my seat and like D: omg ;___;
I HONESTLY COULDN'T HAVE ASKED FOR A BETTER SEAT AT $90??? and true story :c me and Trishie actually moved down a row during the concert bc the seats were empty and were sitting in the $150 seats :cccccc WHICH WAS AWESOME >_>
Anyway, at that point I was on twitter and then was able to go around and see transitorial again which was :DDD and it turned out that she knew Trishie from the Epik high concert WHICH WAS EXACT TWO YEARS AGO TO THE DATE LJHLJKHSLDFKJH and then I also met bitter_sweet05 which was awesome too :D
After that, I sat down in my seat and started prepping myself for the concert and then we all started singing/half singing.....lol basically just singing/screaming the chorus of Chajatta
And then a bit after 8, IT STARTED *_*
So the moment that the intro started, everyone just got up and turned on their lightsticks and were screaming and chanting and THEN THE OPENING NOTES OF EMPTY ;____;
Empty was amazing and so energetic and everyone was doing the ~let it go~ dance and were soooo pumped up. Junsu was on our side and like....sobbing. Because our seats were a side view, well. I saw Junsu's side profile and his ass and I can honestly attest that YES, it is that round and YES it does sit out and it's just amazing :c Junsu is legit soooooo handsome in real life and all of them are sooooo fucking attractive. Especially Yoochun, but I will admit to having many Junsu feelings since we was on our side so much ;; ♥
After Empty was I.D.S. and then NINE and just. Ugh, my heart was breaking because of that song and I'm 99% positive that all three of them were tearing up and Junsu's eyes got a little puffy and just :((( I leaned against Trishie because I was just :(((( but wow, their voices are amazing. Not that Empty or I.D.S. didn't show that, but with the way that Nine is a slower song then those, it was the first song that really showcased their ability and just. Wow. They sound good in their studio versions, but live.....they sound AMAZING.
It also helped that Junsu and Jaejoong threw in all these amazing adlibs and then there were different harmonies at the end of some songs and just. lkdjfhalskdj it was really amazing.
After Nice was the first ment and *___* all three of them spoke english and JFC Yoochun speaking english kills me and to hear him speaking it live like ;__; omg. He said like 'What's up New Jerseyyyy? Welcome to the JYJ Worldwide tour" And then Jaejoong was like 'are you ready to have a good time??' and he said it soooo clear and then Junsu was like 'So how is everyone tonight?' and like...THEIR ACCENTS WERE KINDA GONE? lol granted, they've probably said those lines a hundred times to get them to sound like it, but omg :c Jaejoong's accent was....really sexy, lmao idek. Then Yoochun....lmao he was like 'So good to see you here in Jerji, the next song is pyro(lol Pierrot)' and I was laughing SO HARD because he said Jersey perfectly the first time and then it quickly digressed to JER-JI LKDJAGHL oh Yoochun ♥
So next was Pierrot and I love that song soooooooooooooo much and was jamming and singing along *_*

You can see toward the bottom right the dancers and I was actually kind of distracted as to who too look at because the girl dancers were so cool with their tutus and masks, but lol, JYJ.
Next was Be My Girl and they brought out the micstands and crying all over again. Juns was on our side for this song to and just....he can really move his hips, okay. He also looked over to our side and was singing a bit toward us and just ;___; lol he is so attractive and cute and many Junsu feelings were had during that song.
Then it was the first costume change and they showed some video footage of the making of The Beginning and I was just like lajfahlksjdfha at this point and it just went downhill from there, LOL.
They came back out with Be The One in these awesome black outfits with silver accents and MJ sparkly gloves and omg D: I wanted Yoochun's jacket so badly. Also, there was a point that Junsu was really getting into it with this one female dancer and it was really hot *___* cause it was like...right in front of us LOL
(The lighting was really well done and looked awesome from the side of the stage too *_*)
After that was AYYYYYYY GUUUURLLLLL and everyone just got so hyped up and were singing along and it was sooo much fun. The song DEFINITELY sounds sooo much better live and idec I was getting my groove on :P
Then they cleared the stage and it was time for I Love You
Click to viewTBH, I was kind of hoping that Flowsik was going to make an appearance, but he didn't so :( that was a little sad, but ughhhhh, omg this song.
Okay, okay, I need to stand on my soap box for a second. So in comparison to the Asia shows, we all knew that this was a sexual number(despite it being like...a break-up kinda song?) and since Vancouver with the pictures of Yoochun and the new dancers, I've been getting honestly pissed off about people calling the dancers sluts and whores because they're doing the choreography? Like, BACK OFF :| All three of them are grown men and are allowed to dance with girls if they want and that's obviously want Jaejoong wanted since he directed the original number? And I'm sure if Yoochun had an issue with it, then it wouldn't have happened. Plus, I just don't understand why certain fangirls think that they have property over their idols. I mean, I know that's part of the fanclub culture in Korea and is the biggest issue in regards to idols having to date secretly and such, but to see it come from the international fans who are usually all excited to see their idol shirtless or in a sexy pose and what not...idk. Extremely hypocritical in my opinion. It really just disgusted me to see people to trash the dancers when they're just doing their job and having fun and really when it comes down to it, it's just because they're jealous :| So, YOU GO GIRL DANCERS AND CONTINUE TO DO YOUR THING~♥
.....THAT BEING SAID, I honestly wasn't a huge fan of this song, but hearing it live *__* Like, okay, obviously Yoochun is the weakest vocally of the three of them, but his voice is honestly amazing. I'm happy that I can say this and not just say it because of my bias. My fancam isn't that great video wise, but the audio is good and just the notes he hit at the end of the song gave me the best chills and I honestly HONESTLY wish that he would sing more like that and not in that weird twang thing he does with his voice ;\ But I love him to death and was sooo proud and happy to hear him sing like that ♥
Then there was another break and they set up the stage for Mission, which HOLY SHIT THE INTRO. They had four male dancers standing behind these taiko drums with this intense drumming playing and *___* it was so cool. Then JYJ came back out and I was like '???? where's Jaejoong?' because I couldn't see him, but it turned out he had his hood up and he ripped it down after there was an explosion of smoke and lights, lol. But it was the first time he was near our side, so it was really nice *________*
Now Mission is like, an amazing song. But oh my god, watching and listening to it live is just lakjsdflskdjhf It's soooooo energetic and, lmao, ~high-tension~(lol Trishie ♥) and INTENSE alskjfahlkjdh it was amazing.
Intermission was next and at this point my throat was starting to get raw, but I didn't care(I care now though bc my throat is still burning and my voice is SHOT)
After that, Junsu came out and did I Can Soar. And just. It was beautiful :( Junsu's english legit has gotten better and he just sang the song with so much emotion that I was honestly captivated the entire time. The stage had simple lighting and smoke with this GORGEOUS female dancer dancing around in this flow-y outfit that just really enhanced the feeling of the song. I tried to take pictures, but they all came out blurry because I was just shaking even harder at Kim Junsu singing like this right in front of me and just. So perfect and beautiful ;_; ♥
Then came Jaejoong and Still in Love, which my soap box opinion still stands :| Now I actually kind of like this song because of the way Jaejoong sings is and just. Oh My God, Jaejoong. I honestly don't understand how he exists because his voice is amazing and he DOES look that good and lol his waist is really nice OTL But despite those things, this performance was really good and he just seemed really into the song, and I loved it ♥
Random note, I don't remember which song it was, but Jaejoong came over to our side and was looking and singing to us and gave this smile and like, oh my god D: ;___; His smile is beautiful and I may have swooned a bit :x
The dancers came out after that and got their groove on and did their thing and DAMN, they are some fierce people. Especially the girls, they are really talented!
Chajatta was next and just *__________________* I love that song so much and everyone got re-energized and were singing along and screaming SARANGHAEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE and JYJ just looked sooo happy and were smiling and ugh ugh ugh ♥ I may or may not have made hearts with my hands at Junsu and Yoochun when they were on our side and looking over at us. lol oops :c Easily one of the best performances of the night.
Then they had another ment and it was soooooo adorable because Yoochun was trying to get Jaejoong and Junsu to say something, but they were were waving him off and hiding behind their bottles of water, which left Yoochun kinda like o_o;;; so he was like 'come on~ 한국말어' but they still refused. It was super cute okay :( But he gave up and ended up saying everything and that they were going to slow it down, if that was okay with us. Which was the cutest thing too alsjhflsdj
But then he like...was going to say something else and stopped and said 'Thank you all so much for being here tonight, really." and just. idk :( I got kind of emotional because I don't know if that was part of what he was supposed to say or if it was just a spur of the moment thing but...it was really sweet ;; The venue wasn't filled up, but it definitely was over half full and everyone had a lightstick and were singing along and having a great time, so to just hear something that just sounded so honest like that :( It was really sweet and touching.
...And of course he had to then go break the moment and introduce the next song as Fallen Leaf and I cracked up laughing lkajsfhlkjdsfh OTL
Fallen Leaves was b e a u t i f u l. It's a gorgeous song by itself and the emotion and harmonies and the 다시 시작's ljkfhalskdjfhasl My heart :( I was going to take a fancam of this, but I decided that I just wanted to listen and enjoy the song instead and I'm soooo glad that I did just that.
Boy's Letter was next and to be honest, out of their four new songs, this is my least favorite? But the notes that Junsu hits at the end of the song...CHILLS. He is really a talented singer and I still can't believe I had the chance to hear him live ;; Still in shock.
THEN CAME BE MY GIRL REMIXXXXX!!!!! OMG, easily the most fun thing I've ever done. Everyone was doing the flashmob and lol once again, /Junsu's hips/, but everyone on stage was soooo playful and it was a great song and was a lot of fun. Me and Trishie were talking afterwards and kinda wish they did it twice because it was THAT fun ♥
You're was the last song of the main set and *__* I'm really starting to like this song. They shot out streamers and it was a really light-hearted song and a good way to end the main set. Though unfortunately Yoochun? said it was the last song and some people misunderstood the white ocean project that was set up for In Heaven and cracked their white lightsticks during this song...but then everyone decided to crack theirs and just give them a white ocean for You're instead so, it kinda worked out :DDD
Then they said thank you and did their bows and left the stage....to which we all then started chanting JYJ over and over and over and over and over and over and over again for more than 5 minutes and I'm pretty sure this is where I destroyed my throat x_x But then the screen started showing a pulse thing and it was time for Get Out *_*
EASILY, EASILY my most anticipated song of the night. I'm absolutely in love with this song and it is just SO GOOD. I was jamming and singing along(which you can hear in the background on my video, lmao) Soooo energetic and good and I looooooveedddd it. Plus there was the fact that Yoochun screamed FUCK YOU toward the end and I was like LJSHFLSKJHFLSKJFSHF *___*!!!!!!! because I wasn't sure if he would, BUT HE DID *_____________*
Next was Empty remix and I just love Empty and the remix so much and everyone got soooooooo into it and everyone was smiling and were energetic. Junsu's dance solo was also really cool and lol that boy can dance ;D
Then they disappeared and we started chanting again and I was like...dying at this point because my voice was nearly gone and my throat was really dry x____x but then they came back out and did In Heaven.
Now....I HAD A REALLY GOOD FANCAM OF THIS....AND THEN ACCIDENTALLY DELETED IT ON MY CAMERA T_________________________________T So upset but ,sjhsldjfhlskdjfh Wow, this song. It easily has to be Jaejoong's best composition, hand's down. It's so emotional and stunning and the harmonies are perfect. Especially toward the end where they start walking toward each other with the 가지마 and 것지말 and 사랑해's and then when Jaejoong and Junsu break off into their adlibs and then their harmony..........I was blown away. I was honestly blown completely away. At this point, after hearing it live, it already has a Love in the Ice status with me. It's THAT gorgeous.
And then it was the end for real T____T They thanked us again as a trio and then Junsu said something in Korean I think it was like...they were really thankful for us coming and that they'd work hard in the future and thank you :( he said it in this soft voice too and just, ugh, so emotional at that point, BUT I DIDN'T CRY LIKE I THOUGHT I WOULD ;;
All in all, it was an amazing concert that was perfectly paced and planned out and I loved every single second of it. They truly are the real deal, you guys. After seeing HoMin in SMTOWN and now seeing JYJ, I can only imagine how truly amazing the five of them together were...but this just goes to show that even apart they all shine so brightly on their own and it's truly amazing and beautiful to see ♥
