Introduction post 4.0
Hi everyone! If you're reading this and wondering why the "4.0" in the title, and where are supposed to be all the other introductions, it's because I've decided to set on private all my other entries. No particular reason, they were just old but still nostalgic so I didn't want to delete them entirely.
Anyway! For anyone who doesn't know me, I go by the nickname Yuuki online since I signed up with the name of Yuuki Tenpoin's character (from Code: Breaker) now almost 10 years ago. I'm going to talk a bit about my interests, so if you think we have something in common you can hit me up in DMs anytime! I don't have many people I can talk to about my interests so any reaching out would be totally welcomed!
You can just skip this part entirely by the way, I don't mind, no worries ^^
My journey in this community started in 2015 and can be divided into four sections.
Animes -
I watch pretty much all genres as long as the story interests me. I don't think I have a favorite anime of all time, but there surely are those who are more dear to my heart than others, like Code Geass, Kuroko no Basket, or Utapri (aka the adaptation of the otome game which made me discover that extraordinary world). We can also expand the anime section if we insert the BLs here, but I'm more into dramas than animes as of now.
Dramas -
Used to watch many of them but now I only follow the ones starring the idols I stan, if I think worth it a watch (aka if the plot is my cup of tea). Important mention, it's through a drama, the almighty Hana Yori Dango, that I found out about Arashi, and that led me to the life of an idol stan, which I still am.
I think I should add here as well the enormous quantity of Thai BLs dramas I consume. Started with Japanese BLs and Chinese ones, in 2017 I stumbled upon a Thai one. I managed to break free from BL jail at some point but then, in 2020, Youtube recommended a video of a BL series. Found out about the existence of GMMTV and have been doomed ever since. Back to BL jail. There will be a day in which I'll stop watching them but that day it's not today (and it surely won't be tomorrow either!).
Idols -
Out of all the things I got passionate about and quit, idols are the ones I truly never let go of. I did try after Arashi went into hiatus, since I didn't want to risk going through such a heartbreak once more with another group, but then Sakuma came around. He brought me to Snow Man, which then led me also to SixTONES and... I guess it's my fate to stan extremely talented and extremely chaotic men, isn't it? As of now, those 15 boys are my joy, my happiness, and what makes me push forward every day. Been a fan since 2021 and have no intention of stopping any time soon!
Games -
I've been playing all kinds of games since I was a kid, and I've had lots of "phases" as well. At the moment, the games I invest most of my time in are the rhythm game Project Sekai (a grand part of my daily life is spent on it), and all the otome games that have been sitting on my switch since ages... I'll eventually come back to Splatoon as well, hopefully.
