Being lectured over due diligence and care by… by this woman was not something Izumi would even consider accepting. The teacher's words few out, the rage in her voice hugged by concern, "What makes you so important that Dante would do this to you?"

...flew?

Izumi, you are my hero, and your rashness and Ed's certainly fit hand in hand. Which could be scary. Except Yuuki said in someone else's comments Izumi would probably live. :D So I'm not too worried. Too. Worried. Plus, you're with Al now, which is cool.

One thing regarding this chapter and a couple of others, and I don't remember seeing it earlier, because it would've bothered me then, too, and I'm pretty sure I would've remembered it, and this is just me being a nitpicker, and a reader, and feeling kinda weird every time I see it: "The Elric" without a denominative word following it always throws me right out of a piece. "The elder Elric" or "The younger Elric" doesn't make me wrinkle my nose like the phrase, "The Elric" because that way, it almost sounds like a title ( ... )

*edits!*

I want to say "I like Izumi too much to ki--" but then I killed Hohenheim and I liked him too much as well LOL. Izumi is safer than some XD absolutely

You have to try harder than that for me to get my hate on LOL. No worries.

Yeah I think I've only started to really incorporate that term recently. I don't read it that way, but it's also good to know that someone does. I think I responded to something Ishite said about the term "dish rag", where she saw a dish rag as a dirty old piece of cloth and I see it as a regular kitchen towel. I'd rather not have people thrown off. I think I was just looking for a new term, as opposed to "Ed does this" or "Ed does that". I can easily qualify it with 'elder' or 'younger', I just wasn't because I had Ed and Al on opposite sides of the Gate - making "an Elric" for each side lol.

I'm not sure whether I should laugh or cry over that statement. :D

I think the reason "the Elric" bothers me is I don't see people thinking of themselves that way. For example, if I'm writing Al, in his head for a scene, he'd think of himself as Al. But if I'm writing Roy and he's considering Al, or thinking of Al, he's going to use 'Alphonse' or 'the younger Elric'; something of that nature. Ed, on the other hand, is going to consider Al as "Al", while Al refers to Ed as "Brother" 90% of the time, and "Ed" the rest.

To carry it a bit further:

If Roy's thinking of Jean Havoc, he's going to think 'Havoc', possibly Second Lieutenant. Jean, the other hand, refers to Roy as 'Chief' - so when I write his POV on Roy, it's 'Chief'. But Havoc wouldn't call himself 'Havoc', he'd call himself 'Jean'.

At least, that's how I get it. I have people who call me a variety of nicknames - SJ, Smitty, ELD. But I think of myself as 'Sharon Jane'. I'll answer to all the others, but they're like a subset of me. :D
