It really wasn't. They were upset that once, but just told us to be careful. But then, 5 minutes after, I made a mistake trying to steal a ball from him, and it landed on their tea pot.
...You can see why we might be banned from playing the soccer in that field forever if we make mistake this year too.
Miyako nearly spat out her tea when she saw the mention of the slap from back in grade school. She turned all kinds of amusing shades of red and made all kinds of weird gestures at the screen before calming down enough to type.
How can I ever forget being slapped by a girl, for the first and the last time? I'm sure the sentiment would probably rival my first kiss, and I would be telling my grand kids when I become old.
It's embarrassing that you remember, after all these years. I guess it's good to know that you won't ever forget me, though, even if that's the reason.
And now she finds herself all the more curious. So, Ken-kun has already had a first kiss? But who...?
You don't need to thank me, really. A lot of guys wouldn't be so gracious, probably.
Despite the fact this just showed where she stood in his mind, Miyako couldn't help but give a warm smile at the thought.
Mm, that really sounds wonderful, Ken-kun. You never know, that could be what happens. I mean, I can't imagine moving away from Tokyo! My whole family is here, and as much as they tick me off sometimes, I love them.
And I care too much about my friends to just up and run off, so... That dream might just become a reality. You never know.

But there were old geezers by us last year. They kept yelling at me for nothing!
Truuuue...Hey! We should bring music!

I agree with you that the music would be nice. Something calming and atmospheric like piano would be neat.

Thank you, for that evaluation, but I can be surprisingly irresponsible and avoidant.
I guess that's when I need you guys for. Good slap on the face.

You remember that?!

I'll probably never get over it until I die.
And frankly, I don't want to get over it. :)
Would be nicer if you guys would always be in my neighbourhood all my life, and we could all grow old together.
That way, I could tell stories like... "Aunty Miyako did-"
