I feel like I can write from this...

I read Body and Soul in the Times yesterday and came upon an article with the most heartbreaking final paragraph ever, and I need to share it...

Disclaimer: the following paragraph is the work of "Rebecca Yorke" of The Times and is in no way mine and the views I express on the article are in no way affiliated with The Times or its associates. I am not reproducing the article for advertisement or monetary gain, but simply to share inspiration.

" 'Day by day', I say to myself, because that's the only way to live when your life falls apart. And three years on, we've begun a new one, my triangle-shaped family and I, gone to live on a high hill from where you can see the sea. Up there we don't chase rainbows anymore. Instead we run hard and fast with the salty sea spray on our skin and the wind in our hair, just for the hell of it.
The writer's name has been changed."

Something about this just.... breaks me. Two lines particularly stand out - "that's the only way to live when your life falls apart." and "we don't chase rainbows anymore." Both of these are just so hard-hitting and real and... my heart really goes out to the writer. It's been a long time since two lines made me feel so much, let alone inspire me so much.

inspiration, life
