Good Luck Charm - Elvis Presley (2:27)
73 Words
Warning: Sappy Kuro, angsty Fay.
Fay had always believed he was bad luck. How could he not?
His brother, his country, his king - dead. All of them.
He only really started to rethink this belief when Kurogane took him to a tournament he was in.
Kurogane had won, and after the show, he pulled the mage close and said something Fay would never forget.
“I never needed good luck. I have you, cheering me on, and that’s enough.”
Black or White - Michael Jackson (4:15, plus a pause for irony.)

Warning: racism, more sap-Kuro, a *gasp* cuss-word.
“You’d think they’d be over this,” Fay sighed to himself as he dusted twigs from his hair.
“Pricks like them can’t get kicks any other way.” Kurogane grumbled, dabbing antiseptic on Fai’s grazed cheek. It didn’t look too bad, it was just better to treat it anyway.
He saw Fay later, the blonde’s gaze drifting between one of Kurogane’s mother’s family photos and the mirror it was next to.
He pulled Fay away from the mirror, trying to not hear the blonde murmuring to himself about plastic surgery.
“Listen, I don’t want you being here, being ‘That Russian Guy’. If you want them to cut it out; do something about it!” he put a plaster on Fay’s cut cheek, “But if you don’t… I’ll still love you either way.”
