Where:outside the school.
When:after school, Wednesday afternoon
Summary:Shiori looks for her son after school.
It had been a long day and Shishi was tired. He yawned to himself as he walked out of class, tucking a few strands of blue hair behind one ear as he passed by his adoring fangrirls with a casuel wave on his way.
Hands clasped neatly in front of her, Shiori patiently waited in the throng of students, looking for a certain redhead with calm, blue eyes. It had been a while since mother and son had taken a walk, and the day was nice enough. Blinking, the woman heard a few cackles and focused her gaze towards a group of giddy girls. She smiled politely.
Shishi's violet eyes fell upon her, and he raised one eyebrow, she seemed out of place and he wondered who she was but he said nothing, either waiting for her to speak to him or move on.
Locking gazes with a pair of striking eyes, Shiori's smile never fell as she spoke in a soft voice. "Hello," she paused for a moment, noticing that the boy could very well be in the same class as her son. "I'm sorry, but would you happen to know a Shuuichi Minamino?"
"Shuuichi...oh yes, of course I know him," Shishi nodded, curious now. "Are you looking for him?" the samurai asked with a charming smile now.
She nodded gratefully. "Mmhm!" Stepping closer to the well-mannered teen, Shiori brushed back strands of dark hair before continuing. "And it...doesn't seem like he's left yet. Would you have any idea of where he might be?"
Shishi assumed she must be a relative or someone else and the imp youkai suddenly had a brilliant idea to cause a little mischief. "Perhaps, I think he had to see the counselor...again...it seems he has been getting in trouble once more," Shishi said casuelly.
Shiori blinked, her smile fell into a calm frown. "Oh?" She hadn't expected to hear that bit of news. "What sort of trouble?
"Oh, he has not told you? What a pity he seems to be keeping secrets from those close to him," Shishi said, acting shocked. "Well, he hit the gym teacher once with the ball and tried to blame it on me..." he said with a shrug.
The mother's eyes widened considerably as the student replied. "I'm sorry!" she placed a gentle hand on his shoulder, truly apologetic.
"It's alright, he seems to have such a cruel streak," Shishi said with a heavy sigh, he could really act when he wanted to.
Before her hand retreated, Shiori patted the boy's shoulders and her frown deepened. "Cruel streak...? Are you sure its Shuuichi? Red hair, green eyes?" She felt utterly lost, but still slightly suspicious that it wasn't, couldn't be HER son.
"Oh yes, Shuuichi," Shishi nodded. "I just moved here so I am not used to things but he has constantly been teasing me since I came here," Shishi said, acting a bit hurt.
Narrowing her eyes in sadness, Shiori nodded and inside, she felt quite torn. "Could you do me a favor...? Can you lead me to the counselor's office?" She hoped to catch her son there and get some answers.
"Oh of course," Shishi said, giving her his charming smile once more and flipped his ponytail of blue hair over his shoulder in a very graceful gesture.
The mother weakly smiled and nodded, waiting for him to lead the way. "I'm sorry, but I have to ask... how does he 'tease' you..?"
"Oh, just over the mistakes I make here, such as when I tried to learn to cook," Shishi said with a heavy sign. "Oh and he decided to visit my roommate and I in the middle of the night by coming through the window, it was very...weird..."
"The window!" Shiori exclaimed, mentally agreeing that yes, that was rather weird.... She shook her head silently and pondered just what to do when she finally saw her son. "Its odd, Shuuichi... Has never acted like this before."
"What a pity, he seems to be....troubled..." Shishi nodded.
Holding a hand faintly to her forehead, Shiori sighed deeply and asked, "Has he said anything about what might be bothering him? I mean, do you have an idea...?" Her voice was soft, unsure.
"Hm, I have no idea. Perhaps it's the stress from school?" Shishi suggested, feigning a concerned expression.
"It makes sense.. Shuuichi is involved in a lot of activities." Shiori removed the hand from her forehead and nervously bit her lip. She felt extremely guilty, and worry ached within her chest.
Shishi stopped when they reached the closed door of the counselor's office but the lights were out, obviously the counselor had taken off. "Hm it seems we have missed him. Well I better head home, but it was a pleasure meeting you..." Shishi said with charming smile, giving her a very polite, very graceful bow.
She returned the polite bow and smiled breifly. "Thank you for your time and I'm sorry to have bothered you. Please have a save trip home." Waving slightly, the woman turned around and allowed a truly sad expression to fall upon her face as she walked towards her residence. Hopefully her son would be home.
