Shopping for Swimsuits
Who: Botan, Keiko, and Yukina
Where: Downtown
When: Friday after school
Summary: Botan, Keiko, and Yukina go shopping for swimsuits.
The train finally stopped in the shopping district. Keiko stepped out and looked back at Botan and Yukina. "I know a store in this area, they have a sale of summer clothing"
"...in this kind of weather?" Botan asked, a perturbed look on her face as she stepped out of the train. "...you know they don't get that many customer then..."
"But at least they have what we need, correct?" Yukina questioned, as she stepped out of the train behind Botan. She was sorta confused as to why they had to have indoor swimming when it was winter outside.
"They are selling three swimsuits for the price of one." Keiko grinned and pointed a shop with a large colorful banner.
"Oh! Well...that makes this whole situation easier! All we need to do is figure out what swimsuits suit us!" Botan exclaimed, clapping her hands together.
Yukina blinked, for she never heard of clothing stores selling many things for the price of one... but it was lot more easier on them. "Hai! That's all we have to do!" She exclaimed in agreement.
"Ok" Keiko agreed with a slight nod. Did you bring money? I dont know how much it will be though" she started walking toward the shop, holding her bookbag against her chest.
"I have some money..." they ferrygirl started, digging into her bag pocket to see how much she had. After a bit of stuggling, she pulled her hand out, revealing the amount she had. "...well I have enough to pitch in for the cost..."
"I've brought some money," the ice maiden said as she started to dig into her bookbag's pocket to get the money. After a few moments, she pulled her hand out to reveal the amount she had. "Will this pay for them?"
Keiko looked at their hands and then reached for her bookbag pulling out a coinpurse "Mmmm yeah this will do" she pushed the door of the store opening it for them.
Clutching her hand closed to prevent the money from falling, Botan followed after Keiko, entering the store with an anxious look on her face.
Closing her hand tightly, she prevented the money she had from falling as Yukina followe after Botan, entering the store with a bright look on her face. Spending time with Botan and Keiko was going to be fun!
Inside the shop there was a shop assistant and keeper, boredly scribbling a crossword magazine. Pyramids of t-shirts, shorts and swimsuits organized with incredibly low prices.
"Pick what you want and bring it here" she droned. Keiko nodded and looked at the girls "Let's see"
Botan glanced at the stack of summer clothing with a dry look. "...that's a wonderful way to sell things..."
Yukina looked to Keiko then to Botan before she looked over to the swimsuits. "There are so many to choose from..." she murmured lightly before looking to Botan and Keiko once more.
"How about we find a swimsuit or swimsuits with our favorite colors on it and see which one is best for us?"
"That's a good idea. I like purple and light blue, also pink. What about you?" she asked looking at the pile of swimsuits
Botan gave a thoughtful look before responding. "...I like yellow!"
Yukina thought for a moment before smiling brightly. "I like light blue, light pink, and also a black or grayish color with light blue and light pink with it!" She exclaimed merrily.
"Also ... there are swimsuits of one or two pieces. I'd like one piece though..."
Botan blinked. "One piece or two pieces? Hm...well...I guess it depends on how they look...but of course, that's my opinion..." she said, holding up a red swim suit and shaking her head in disagreement, tossing it back into the pile.
"I think the one piece and two pieces are both cute but for our swimming class, I say we get a onc piece. It'll be easier and it won't fall off unlike the two pieces can," she replied.
She was eyeing the pile of swimsuits, trying to find the one she liked.
"It would be horrible... to jump into the swimmingpool ...and a part remains floating in the surface x.x" Keiko cupped her cheeks staring up worriedly. "With all those demons... with Cc--huu"
Botan shuddered at the thought, a horrified look on her face. "...which gives all three of us a good enough reason to buy one piece swimsuits...!"
"Hai, hai! It would be horrible and yes it does give us all three a good reason. Let's just hope the requirement isn't a two piece or we'll have to come back shopping once more for a two piece," Yukina said, sweat-dropping.
It would be horrible if they had to do that... seeing as how most of the class was made up of guys.
Keiko dug her hands in the pile and started shuffling through the swimsuits. "Lets see what we find" she pulled out a yellow one. it had bright red seashell imprints. "Do you like this, Botan-chan?"
Botan's eyes lit up when Keiko pulled out the yellow swimsuit. "Oh! It's really cute! I like it!" She then took the swimsuit out of her hands and held it up, a giggle escaping her lips.
Yukina watched Botan and giggled softly before she began to dig her hands into the pile and started shuffling thourgh the swimsuits. "Hmm..." she pulled out a purple one. It had light blue and pink flower imprints on it.
"Keiko-chan! Do you like this?" She questoned as she showed her the swimsuit.
Keiko sweatdropped at Botan's comment. "Ok, here" she handed it to the girl. "Hey! That's very pretty Yukina-chan, I'll try it" Now they needed one for the ice maiden...
Botan tucked the swimsuit under her arm and began to dig in the pile. "Hm...all we need to do is find one you like, Yukina-chan..." she pulled out a black one and shook her head, tossing it ontop of the pile.
"Hai..." Yukina agreed with a nod of her head as she gazed at the swimsuits for a moment before rummaging through them once more.
She picked up a dark pink and shook her head before putting it back and digging through the pile once more.
Keiko pulled out a bright pink one with blue dolphins. "Erk... what do you think?"
Botan continued rummaging through the pile, not even bothering to look up at the one Keiko had asked about. Pulling up a light blue suit with flowers on it, Botan glanced upwards. "Or this? Do these two seem to suit your taste?"
Yukina had pulled out a black swimsuit with light blue and light pink flower design before she had looked over to the one Keiko was holding and then to the one Botan was holding.
"I like them both!" She exclaimed. "Though I want an opinion. Do you two like this?"
"I think that one is better than these two. And most important, you found it" Keiko nodded. "Just gotta try them and it will be done"
Botan nodded. "I agree..." She then placed the swimsuit she suggested back and stood up.
Smiling brightly at Keiko and Botan, the ice maiden exclaimed, "Okay! I shall get it!" Crossing the swimsuit over arm as she stood up she looked over at Botan's and Keiko's.
"If they fit we'd be very pretty in wearing them, don't you think?"
Keiko nodded back at them and pointed the dressers "There.. we get to try them. That's how shops in the human world work. If it suits you and you like it, you can buy it"
"Well! How convienent!" Botan chirped. "Shall we go and try them on?"
Yukina looked over to the dressers and blinked for a moment before a bright smile graced her lips. "Hai!" She exclaimed happily. "We shall go and try them on!"
Keiko headed to the first dresser and closed the door. She began changing the clothes. "Ill be done in a moment"
"Yes! We'll wait here to see how you look!" the ferrygirl said. She then noticed a few seats near the dressing room. "Yukina-chan, do you want to sit down while we wait?" she asked the ice apparition.
The ice apparition nodded her head in agreement with the ferrygirl. And at her question, she nodded her head once more. "Yes, I do, Botan-chan. Is there any seats around?" She asked before she glanced about and saw them.
She went over to one to sit down in it.
Sometime later, Keiko walked out of the dresser. "Hey I like it, I'd show you but its very cold out here" she stepped leaving the dresser open for the girls to try it.
Botan stood up as she saw Keiko walk out. "I'm next!" She then walked into the dresser and began to change into the swim suit to see how it looked.
Yukina nodded her head. "It is cold out here," she agreed, as she watched Botan walk into the dresser. "Would you like to sit down, Keiko-chan, while we wait?" She asked from her position in a chair.
Keiko nodded and clutched the swimsuit in her hands. "Sure"
After a few minutes, Botan called out to the girls. "Oh wow! This suit is really cute! I'm going to buy this one!" After a few more minutes, she came back out with clothes on, the swimsuit in her arms.
Yukina stood up from the chair as she saw Botan come out. "My turn!" She then walked into the dresser and began to change into the swim suit. She wondered how it would look as she did so.
"Ok" Keiko smiled at the girls and looked at her watch at the bottom of her wrist.
Botan made her way back to the seats and sat next to Keiko, waiting for Yukina to finish.
After a few minutes, the ice maiden called out to Botan and Keiko, "It fits! And it's really cute! I'm going to buy it!" Then after a few more minutes, she came back out with her clothes on and the swimsuit laying on her arm.
Botan stood up as she saw Yukina come out. "Well! Now that we have our suits, how about we go and pay for them?"
Yukina smiled at the girls as she nodded her head. "Yes! We can go and pay for them now since we have them," she spoke out in reply softly, yet lightly.
Keiko nodded and stood up. "Lets go, I know we have enough."
