Bits and bobs
☆ @ those of you who commented re: my reading post and Leonard Cohen, I've started that book, and yeah, I see what you mean now. He does have quite a way with words. :D (Pardon not replying to comments directly, I'm feeling low-effort today.)
☆ My parents are going to be insufferable in the morning. Current plan: Get up as early as possible, and go camp out in the library for most of the day. Who knows, maybe I'll finish drafting this exchange story, and start another (or even something personal, original fiction maybe?). I've had so many ideas swimming around in my head, but not really any time to work on them, so I might as well make the most of this weekend. And I suspect some Geocaching might happen, if it's not too cold/wet out for it. No idea what I'm going to do for the evening, though. I suspect that I'll have to pull out the noise-cancelling headphones. Ah, well.
☆ Speaking of the library, whyyyy are their public watercolour classes on Thursdays... If it were Friday, then I'd at least be able to make it every second week, but nooo. Sigh. ...This has been your regularly scheduled grumping about the difficulty of finding cool things to do in this town that are relevant to my interests and involve interacting with other people. Ah, well. I'LL KEEP TRYING.
