A few scattered Yuri on Ice thoughts. Cut because Ep 04 has only been out for a few days.
☆ It's nice to see Yuuri thinking things through, trying to figure out ways to become more sure of himself... Victor's helping, of course, but Yuuri is doing most of the work, and the way he's working through things is making him a more interesting character to me.
☆ YuriP is a graceful noodle and I love it. And ahhhh he looked so cute with his hair up, he should wear it that way more often.
☆ I LOVE PHICHIT. He's such a cutie! I hope we'll see more of him. Aaaand I ship him with Yuuri, oops. (Why do I always end up liking rarepairs?!) I hope eventually somebody will write something in which Yuuri takes Phichit up on the offer to visit him in Bangkok... that'd be nice. But the person to write this is definitely not me. Maybe I should put it on my list of things to potentially request for ChocoBox, heh.
☆ I'm enjoying following this series - it's pretty fun - but I doubt it'll ever become an absolute love. Partly because a lot of the fanservicey stuff isn't really to my taste. (The parts that could most closely be described as 'fanservice to my taste' are... the skating sequences. Yes. Good thing there's a good amount of that.) Buuuut I'm totally not the target audience, so, y'know, whatever. :'D And, eh, most of the humour isn't to my taste either. But there's enough things that I do like, so I've been looking forward to the episodes every week.
