Quick and dirty
☆ UGH. WEEKEND. FINALLY. This week has been entirely exhausting. I have no bloody clue why, but there it is.
☆ My Team Mystic t-shirt arrived. It's a little too big and it smells like freshly-printed t-shirt. Bleh. But this is nothing that a run through the wash won't fix. I'm satisfied.
☆ Tonight's PokeGo nonsense: a bunch of people were playing hot potato with the Stone Creek gym, but I managed to stick something in there in the end. Coins for me, hooray - and a good thing, too, because I haven't been able to take anything lately. I'LL GET ENOUGH FOR MY GOALS EVENTUALLY. Interesting catches were a Magikarp (only however-hundred many more to go...) and a Poliwag, which was a new one for the pokedex, whoo~ Hopefully will be able to catch more neat things downtown tomorrow.
☆ Double rainbow while pokewalking = A++. Getting rained on, however... not quite so nice. But at least it wasn't cold.
☆ Gave in to my cake-cravings and grabbed a single-slice at the supermarket. It was aggressively mediocre. 5/10, would not cake again unless desperate. This is what I get for surrendering. ;V
☆ Finally started reading Drum Songs by Kerry Abel. I wish I hadn't taken so much time to get around to it; I was worried it'd be kind of dry, but I'm enjoying it SO MUCH. Thankfully, I don't have to return it until the end of next week. That's definitely enough time.
☆ Watched Dracula Untold this evening. This film is ridiculous. But it's the fun kind of ridiculous. And there are certain parts that basically plug right into my id. I did not expect this. That scene in which the castle's getting attacked and then Vlad emerges, coat billowing dramatically, and proceeds to take on the army single-handedly... Pffffff. AND ALSO that thing at the monastery where he summons the bats and then (dramatically) sends them swooping down and spreading havoc... yeahhh. Also, all that stuff at the very end, you know... I didn't know I had A Thing for reincarnation tropes, but I guess I kind of do.
☆ You know what, if I decide to participate in Trick or Treat Exchange, I might request that canon, pfft. WHY NOT. It's a very big "if" though, because I'm much more likely to do treats only than sign up for this exchange. But, who knows. I might change my mind.
☆ I kind of want to get up early tomorrow morning. It'd be nice to go on a walk really early, when everything is still cool. AND THEN go to the library really early, too. Will I succeed? Only time will tell!~
