I spent all day doing other people's taxes. FUN. Or... not. But at least nobody's going to bug me about it any more.
(...Good gods, I hope I did it right. My parents' taxes are way more complicated than mine are, and I was a bundle of nerves the whole time I was working on it.)
And now I feel like a totally boring person, because seriously, that's what I have to write about? xD But mostly I'm bummed that it took the whole day, I guess.
Nice little things:
☆ Had a very nice conversation with a friend that I ordinarily don't get much chance to talk to. This kind of thing is always so good. <3
☆ I've discovered the deliciousness of chamomile + honey tea. <3 Not my usual choice, but ahhh yes, this one is good.
☆ Received a very kind letter from a friend recently... I'm going to have to read it over a few more times (I've already read it half a dozen times already). Note to self: Reply to this, else you're a hoser and also a jerk.
☆ The last fic I wrote was very well-received. Aaaand also someone drew fanart of my rare ot3. [/rolls around happily] It feels nice to know that though aRTD fandom is pretty tiny, the people in it are enthusiastic. At least, about certain things. ;p Though it's kind of funny that something I dashed off extremely quickly could have such a good response.
☆ Speaking of writing - I managed to get more done this month than I did last month, and that's kind of a relief. Last month was really bad for some weird reason; I was hella' depressed. Looking through my wordtracker spreadsheet, I can tell, because not only did I write a smaller amount than usual, I did it less frequently. It's kind of sobering to realize that my mood affects things that badly. On the other hand, I'm realizing now that this might be a good way to keep track of, er, all the various mental bullshit. Which is unexpected, but pretty good.
☆ Less than two weeks before I leave for Sweden! :D ...Oh gods, it's less than two weeks before I leave for Sweden. D:
