✿ The Supreme Court of the USA has ruled in favour of country-wide marriage equality. [Link] Congratulations, neighbours!
✿ Canada is playing England tomorrow. I'm looking forward to watching it. Haven't been keeping up with the Women's World Cup this year, on account of work being busy and then vacation after that, but I'm happy that we're still in the game - but it'll be even better if we kick England's ass. 8)
✿ Sat down to watch a horror movie with the gang tonight. Feels good - I rarely miss things from home while on vacation, but I did miss this. <3 Had trouble getting into the movie we were watching, though - The Lazarus Effect. I think there's something about me and this kind of scenario that just doesn't click. There were some pretty good scares, though.
✿ With the time I'll have to myself this weekend, I'm hoping that I'll be able to make some headway with writing. I have the roughs for two fics, and hopefully I'll be able to polish up both of them. Not necessarily to completion, but better than they are now. One is that Hetalia + Fury Road fic I was working on, and the other is some Redtail's Dream fic with Hannu and Ville. In both cases, I'm having trouble with getting the voices right. Australia is really difficult. So is Hannu. I will probably have luck finding someone to help me with the Hetalia thing - it isn't as if I don't know any Australians in this fandom, so maybe I can poke somebody - but the Redtail one will be more difficult to find advice for. ... I know some people on ffa have read it, maybe I should throw the request there and see if I get some bites? After I tinker with the draft. Argh, I don't know.
