AAH I found out that Ursula Vernon released another novel (well, under the name T Kingfisher as usual, but yes). I remember her mentioning it in her blog, but I didn't realize that
The Seventh Bride would be out so soon. I really enjoyed Toad Words and also Nine Goblins, so I'm sure I'll like this - though I'm not sure when I'll get around to reading it. Maybe I'll wait for an especially crappy day, or something like that, because it's nice to have something on hand that I know will lift up my mood. (At least, if Ursula V's previous writing is any indication....)
And this reminds me that I still haven't finished reading Digger yet. Though to be fair, it's a big fat book and it's not like I can take it on the bus, so I've only been reading it on the weekends.
Speaking of reading, I started making my way through Scott Lynch's Red Seas Under Red Skies today. I remember that I really loved The Lies of Locke Lamora, so hopefully I will like this one. It's a little early to say. I find that my eyes have been glazing over a little when it comes to a lot of the fantasy-atmosphere-setting-worldbuilding stuff, which isn't really a good sign, but it's possible that I was just too tired this morning to absorb it the way that I usually would.
