Y'all only get point notes today because I'm lazy. And because I'm tired.
☆ It has been raining like crazy this evening. Huge-ass thunder and lighting storms. And there were freaking tornado warnings in certain parts of the province. Not for Saskatoon, but still in an area too close for my comfort. WHAT'S GOING ON.
☆ Discovered a postcard from Moona in my mailbox today. <3 <3 <3 Entirely unexpected, and it brightened up my day a bit, ahhhh.
☆ Finished Defoe. Moving on to read some Black Jack so that my brain can recover from the old-fashioned lingo. Maybe that's what I should do: read heavier stuff, but space it out with comic books. Maybe I won't fry my brain too much that way.
☆ Not gonna' lie, I'm disappointed that Italy is out of the runnings in the World Cup. I was really hoping they'd do better than that (though to be honest I wasn't hoping they'd win the WC, because they don't need it again. Ditto for Brazil). On the other hand, Slovakia must have really wanted that win, so... props to them. I look forward to seeing their match on Monday - though I really have no idea how they'll do against the Netherlands. Then again, Slovakia's hockey team surprised me when they were playing against Finland in the olympics - maybe their football team will surprise me, too.
☆ Have been updating the Nordex like a mofo during the evenings. Now covering parts 06-13, and I'm halfway through part 05. It's crazy exhausting, but I get some weird satisfaction from it. I keep coming across things I want to write, too. Awesome.
