"I expect your payment soon. That includes chronicling the events of this world as well." Yuuko's paper butterfly told her in a ghostly voice, the paper fluttering toward her.

[Well, things did indeed just get interesting. Zexion's intention is to settle into a comfortable position with his back against the wall and his arms folded over his chest and just watch. He can pick up the scent of blood on one. Strong. The other has a damp scent. Watery. Wet. To top it off, there's darkness. Strong, but not as strong as what he picks up from the Heartless. Or the Nobodies. Certainly nowhere as strong as the Superior. But then, no one wears the darkness like the Superior does. It tells him, without a doubt though, that they are neither Heartless nor Nobodies. And as such, if the need arises, he can escape into the corridors without concern that they may follow. Even so, he mentally prepares to summon his Lexicon if he needs it.]

[Red-eyes swivles at his arrival, his eyes lighting up in a predatory, almost lustful look. His bloodlust is pallipale in the air. He stares at Zexion for a moment. His companion, however, isn't interested. He glances at his companion, though it almost looks like his eyes slide so far sideways they go back into his head. He heaves a sigh and falls in line next to his companion ( ... )

[Zexion does nothing in return. Merely watches the scene unfold before him in silence. He doesn't appear in the least uncomfortable or phased by their arrival. Or by Red-eye's staring. He stares right back. His gaze unwaivering. Get a good look, Red-eyes. Look into that one visible blue eye, the one not hidden behind a thick sheet of hair. Cold. Empty. It takes a a keen eye to see it. How dead his eyes are. But maybe something like you can see it. And if either of them can tell in any way, there's darkness in him as well. Just as cold and empty as his eyes. He hides it so well from humans. Like an actor on a stage, he can change his expressions, his tone of voice, his body movements--play the part of a normal teenage boy. But maybe, because their not human, they can tell.]

[They can tell. Red-eyes is curious, wanting to "play" with this new "toy" but Mr. Damp is focused on the situation at hand. Probably for the best. Red-eyes tends to play rough, not considering play until blood is drawn. He also thinks it's perfectl acceptable to "break" his "toys" since they're replaceable. After all, they're only humans. This one is human but not human. Red-eyes can't help glancing back at him, wanting to "play" but he stays in place. One glance at Mr. Damp proves why. Mr. Damp glances at Red-eyes, who's beginning to fidget. Red-eyes had just decided to "play" with Blue when Mr. Damp glanced at him ( ... )

[He moves away from it--not in a manner that says he's afraid of it. Just casually stepping a few steps to the side, barely giving it a glance. Unknown object are best treated with caution afterall. And he doesn't know what it is or what it can do. But once he's put some distance between it and himself he settles back into a comfortable standing position. Red-Eyes, he's fairly sure he can take. He seems the sort who lives to enjoy violence. A fighter. Not a thinker. But as to Mr.Damp, well now. That seems a wild card. He can't be sure what to expect from him.]

[She seems to relax further once he's moved away from the orb. It's hard to tell, though, as in the next moment she tenses. Mr. Damp has stepped forward. She no longer pretends to be at ease. She's on edge, ready for a fight or so it seems.]

"I am Zen." It's the first time he's spoken more than one word. He gestures to his companion. "This is Azreth. Tell us, are you the Scribe?"

She hestitates before finally squaring her shoulders and raising her chin. "Yes, I've been called that before. What do you want with me?"

Azreth steps forward, licking his lips. "I want to play, Zen. Let me play. Please?"

[He's got his eye on Zen. The watery scent makes him wonder if he has an affinity for it. If worst comes to worst and he has to run back to the castle, and Zen follows, he'll find Larxene. If Zen does have a water affinity, then a dose of electricity should do the trick to at least stun him. Just one plan whirring through his head. There are more for more immeadiate use if things turn ugly. He's still quiet though. There's no reason for him to speak as of yet. But his eyes flicker to each other occupent in the room, watching. Thinking. Planning.]

[He does indeed have an affinity for water. He's a strange one, though. He's not bound by his affinity like most. He likes fire, which partially explains his companion, Red-eyes Azreth. Shocking him would probably slow him down but it wouldn't do him in for good. It would take several large shocks to stop him. Stop him, not kill him. However, Zen has no interest in the blue-haired boy watching them. He only can think of achieving his goal ( ... )

[He straightens up now, no lounger simply lounging against the wall. A look of interest on his face. His arms lower to his sides, fingers of his right hand twitching. Darkness flickers at his finger tips, only noticeable if your really looking. So they intend to capture Yuu. And then Azreth will want to play, will he? He's not the one that concerns Zexion of course. Zexion's weapon appear in his hand, summoned to him. A book--it hardly looks threatening. But someone like Azreth likely won't know what's hit him when Zexion finaly shows it's power. Zen on the other hand--but we shall see, won't we?]

[Best not to underestemate him, Ion. Like his partner, Azreth has an affinity, though his is to fire. He's also a strange one, though. He has another affinity--blood. Once he draws blood, he's pretty much won the "game" but he likes to take his time. He has two weaknesses, the first of which is darkness. He's okay with water, so using it won't bother him. Careful, Zexion, careful.]

[Careful, Zexion, careful.] A voice seems to echo in your head. Yuu-chan's voice. She isn't look at you, however and she makes no sign that she's made any contact. Perhaps she might have said something else but Azreth takes a couple steps forward. The papers crunch under his feet and she winces, looking mournfully at the papers.

"Can you not step on those? I spent the last three days working on them." [She speaks as if she's perfectly at ease. Yet even as she speaks, she moves so she's to the side of the desk, falling into an old, antiquated defensive move. Perhaps Zexion recognizes it? She glances at him again.]

[Move as far away from the orb as you can ( ... )

[Oh, so she intends for him to run does she? She had the chance to tell him that before this whole thing started. He gave her that chance. He also doesn't really like her voice up there in his head. People who can do that can usualy take a peek into people's minds and he doesn't want anyone trying to poke around up there. Not that there's much going on other than strategies. But that can be addressed later. As it is, he makes no move other than to tighten his grip on the book and wait--he's already made his first move, but as of yet no one can likely tell that he's done anything. It's a simple thing--nothing that is affecting anyone in the room other than Zexion himself. As to the fire--well, Zexion can understand her dismay. Thanks to a certain pyromaniac he knows, he's seen his own work go up in flames more than once. He finaly speaks, his voice soft and laced with mild dissaprooval ( ... )

[Let the record note, she did warn him. He chose to ignore her warnings. If he wants to blame her for his inability to listen to warnings, that's fine. But she did warn him. However, she left the choice up to him. She can't affect his future by offering advice or telling him what to do ( ... )

[If things get messy, he can pull out any time. The bonus of not having a heart--the corridors will welcome him with open arms every time. But his expression is darkening now. His expression looks angry. He's not feeling anger. But his face is showing it clearly enough. Burn the books? Burn them? Zexion won't stand for that now. The expression of annoyance suddenly changes, lips pulling up in a cruel smirk. He doesn't need words. All he needs is his book. And they won't notice either, because one illusion is already in place. Making it appear that he's standing in one place when he's really in another--hidden from view by the illusion.]

Burn them, he says. Now really, where are your manners?

[Just try to find them then. Because right about now, it probably looks like they've vanished. Sinking back into the wall--melting into it. And he hasn't moved a muscle. If they try to attack anyway, he'll open the corridor in front of them, for extra measure ( ... )

[The orb is rocking back and forth again. It's motion is so violent it's captured Zexion's attention. However, now a violent wind rips through the room. The papers are flying up into the air, making a paper tornado. The room is in absolute chaos. Before anyone can react, though, there's a bright flash of light. When the light clears, everything's different.]

[Half the room has vanished, including the desk and all the occupants. Even Zexion is gone. Where they are is a green pasture. It appears peaceful, except in the east a huge pillar of black smoke threatens to block out the sky. Around the edge of the north and west end of the meadow is a line of trees, the beginning of an extensive forest. Around them flutter down papers. Yuu-chan stands by her desk, cradling a book to her chest. She holds her precious book as if it's an infant, not hugging it too tightly but not too loosely.]

"What?" Zen seems confused.

"We've returned to your world." Yuu-chan speaks. "I don't intend--" She spots Zexion on the outskirts of the group. "Ion?"

[The one she's seeing is the clone--Zexion's illusions have held up in the transfer thankfully. His real location is close by though. His illusions seep in. Take hold of the senses. Sight, sound, smell, touch--it's really as if that clone is Zexion. He's gotten very good at this technique.]

As I already told them, focus on the task at hand.

[This time, not in the warning tones he used for Zen and Azreth. More... chiding? First rule of battle is to remain focused. Don't give the enemy an opening.]

[Sound advice indeed. Before the words have finished being spoken, Azreth has shot forward. He moves at speeds impossible for a normal human, so fast he would appear a blur to someone with normal eye. She doesn't seem to move but one second he's almost directly in front of her, drawing his arm back to attack her. The next instant, she's gone ( ... )
