OPEN ARMS - TaDaiki
“I’m sorry, Yuya.” Daiki said as he met with Takaki on their usual meeting place.
“Eh?” Takaki asked. “Why are you sorry for?” He ruffled the shorter’s hair but was stopped by Daiki.
“I’m breaking up with you.” Daiki said as he averted Takaki’s gaze. Takaki’s hands dropped down as he looked at Daiki, getting confused.
“Don’t joke around, Daiki.” Takaki laughed jokingly as he feels a big lump on his throat. “Don’t joke like that.” But then Daiki put something cold on his palm and when he looked at it, it’s the other pair of their couple ring. “Why?” Takaki asked, suppressing the tears that want their escape.
“We don’t have time for each other anymore. We just didn’t know, we are already slowly drifting apart. You’re too busy with your own career and I’m busy with mine.” Daiki replied, meeting Takaki’s gaze as it was the only way for the latter to believe him. “And I think, I’m not the right person for-“
“THAT’S BULLSHIT!” Takaki threw the ring on the ground which made Daiki flinch. He never saw Takaki this angry before. “Just tell me Daiki and I can always make time for us.” Takaki said, in a soft tone and is now crying in front of him. “True, I’m busy with my work. I got countless of meetings almost every day. You never said anything so I thought you understand me.”
“I have enough of it,” Daiki replied. “And I don’t love-“
“DON’T SAY IT!” Yuya shouted as he kneeled on the ground, clenching his fist but Daiki still continued.
“I don’t love you anymore, Yuya.”
“GO!” Yuya shouted, crying, his heart feels heavy. “GO!” but instead of going, Daiki kneeled in front of him, cupping the side of his head, pulling it towards him before kissing Yuya’s forehead and to his lips-for the last time.
The kiss is full of love and sweetness that Takaki can’t stop himself from crying. “If we are for each other Yuya, no matter how far we are, no matter how many years will pass. It will still be us.” Then the warmth disappeared as Daiki stood up and walked away.

“Takaki, that’s enough.” Yabu Kota, his best friend said as he took the bottle of liquor away from Takaki. “You drank enough already.”
“But why, Kota?” Yuya asked, getting drowsy. “I don’t understand him at all.” He said as he lean his head on the counter of the bar. “I can’t accept his reasons at all. I don’t know what I did wrong.” He said as tears are starting to flow from his eyes. “Daiki…” He murmured as he kept on crying.
After the break-up, Yuya never saw Daiki anymore. He’s not in his apartment and his family doesn’t know where he is.

Looking at the sky, Takaki spoke in his mind, “I don’t want to believe that this is the end for both of us.” Before he started to walk with polling his luggage with him, entering the airport.

5 years passed…
Takaki became more successful than he is. He became well-known worldwide because of his achievements in the business industry. He is currently living alone in England, since the main branch of their family’s company is there. But even though he has everything now, all of those still can’t fill the missing piece in Takaki’s life. And that is Daiki. For 5 years, Takaki never loved anyone other than Daiki. He knows he’s pathetic, he was being told by his friends to just search for someone who is much better than Daiki but no one can ever make his heart beats crazy like what Daiki did to him.
He doesn’t care if he ends up dying without any spouse.
Because Takaki Yuya can only love on person.

Takaki looked at the window of his room and watched as the rain started to drop one by one until the mass became heavier. He stared outside with longing in his eyes. He wanted to go back in Japan to search for Daiki but he still has lots of things to work in England. The ring of the doorbell made Takaki startled but went to the front door nonetheless.
Stoning in his place, Takaki can only widen his eyes as he can’t believe who is the person standing right in front of him-Short, beautiful brown-haired guy, drenching wet. Then suddenly the guy ran towards him, hugging him in the process. The latter cried on his chest and he can only get stunned, processing everything that is happening.
“D-Daiki?” He called and the latter can only tighten his hug.

Takaki doesn’t even care anymore that the guy he is holding right now has clothes damped wet by the rain because by now he is busy on crashing their lips together. He even pressed the latter’s body on him making no more distance between them. The kiss is hungry and messy like they don’t want to lose on each other’s dominance as tongues invade on each other’s mouths. They stopped when they discarded each other’s shirts and continued to kiss again.
Takaki stepped back and started to walk while the latter can only follow him with his arms perfectly wrapped around Takaki’s neck. Takaki then pinned the smaller guy on the wall, breaking away from the kiss. He pressed their foreheads together feeling their breathes dancing together.
“Daiki…” He murmured the latter’s name.
“Yuya…” Daiki replied, tears started to flow on his eyes. When he heard his name being called, Takaki kissed Daiki again but this time, the kiss became needy and sweet. Takaki carried Daiki in a bridal style, entering a certain room before laying Daiki in the soft mattress.
Daiki broke away from the kiss and they started to stare at each other’s eyes. “Yuya, I love you.” Daiki’s tear rolled down more as he lifted his hand, palming the latter’s cheeks.
“I know, Daiki.” Takaki replied with softness in his gaze. “I always know that.” He pecked on the latter’s lips and say, “And I love you too.” Before Taking the latter’s lips once again.

When Takaki woke up from his sleep, he thought everything that happened was a dream but when he felt the weight on his spread arm and looked at the guy lying beside him-sleepingpeacefully- he knew it was not a dream at all. Daiki came back to him.
Using his free hand, he stroke the latter’s hair lovingly, smiling. Daiki stirred in his sleep, snuggling closer to Takaki. “Yuya…” The latter sleepily called.
“Hmmmm?”
“I’m sorry.” Daiki replied, burying his head on the latter’s chest. “For everything. For leaving you. For hurting you. I’m such an idiot for breaking up with you. I thought I don’t love you anymore, and I was close on convincing myself that’s why I broke up with you. And I just lately realized that I still do. I thought I’m too late to make things right between us and I’m so thankful that you still accepted me even though I inflicted so much pain on you and I feel very, very lucky that I’m the one you love ‘til now, Yuya.”Daiki cried and Takaki lifted the latter’s face, meeting his gaze.
Wiping Daiki’s tears, Takaki said, “I can only love you, Daiki. I knew from the very start that you’re the one for me. So no matter how many times you go away from me, I’ll always be here, waiting for you with open arms.”
And he descended his face capturing Daiki’s lips once again.
