Yuto and Juri entered a bar. It’s not a nightclub bar, just simply a bar where high school students can hang out. It’s not opening yet since it’s still afternoon. Yuto can hear a sound of base guitar and he already know who’s playing it. as they approached the stage, Juri shouted, “Minna!! We have a guest!!” the 2 persons in stage turned their attentions to Juri and both of them have the same reaction, “AHHHH!” pointing their fingers to Yuto.
“YUTO!” a blonde-haired guy, with imperfect teeth but still, it looks good on him ‘cause he looks cute, puts his base guitar down and went down the stage.
“HIKARUUUUUUUU” Yuto ran to him and hugged him like a baby hugging her mommy.
Hikaru shove him away saying that for how many years, he’s telling him not to cling to him like that because it’s disgusting but still, he’s doing it. “You never changed, Yuto.” The guy on the keyboard laughed, he has a one-sided hairstyle with a pouty lips.
“I think, you too Yuma.” They high fived then Yuto noticed there’s a person lacking. “where’s Kento?” he asked.
“kento? He just bought something for his guitar.” Hikaru told him. Yuto saw the drums on the stage and his eyes sparkled. Hikaru saw it and asked him if he would like to play the drums. Yuto asked him if it’s alright and of course, it’s really alright since it’s his drums that he donated to the band before he left. He started playing it and as expected, he’s pretty good. His band mates, missed it already, singing together, playing the instruments together, even dancing together.
“Senpai?” a guy’s voice was heard in the middle of the drumming session. “senpai!” he rushed towards him like a puppy going to his master happily. The other guy, who’s tailing him, ran with him too.
“kento! How are you?” he patted the latter’s head. Kento is their schoolmate back in middle-school, just a year younger than them.
“I’m good! Who found you?” he asked and Yuto pointed Juri who’s raising her hand. “ah! Before I forgot, this is Shintaro, our new drummer.” Yuto looked at the small kid hiding behind kento.
the kid called Shintaro peeked and familiarity strikes Yuto. “Mo-morimoto Shi-shintaro desu.” The kid is too shy to face Yuto. But Yuto has something processing in his mind. Morimoto Shintaro? And he looks like Ryutaro too… could it be? “I heard you play earlier and it’s really wonderful… anou, can I call you senpai too?” he asked Yuto and he smiled at him and nod.
“want me to teach you drums?” Yuto asked him and the little kid’s eyes, twinkles. “Juri, how many minutes left before the bar opens?”
“we still have an hour.” And for one hour, Yuto teach Shintaro drums and played with his former bandmates. They had this song written by them and Shintaro was really amazed on how Yuto plays the drums. They just stopped playing 15 minutes before the bar will open. After arranging everything, Yuto bade goodbye and told them that he’ll be back again.
The following day, Yuto noticed that Ryosuke is kinda not in a good mood plus, she’s not talking to him. he just let it be because if he’ll talk to her, she’ll get angry. As soon as the class ended in the afternoon, Yuto told them that he’ll leave first and went hurriedly to the bar. There, he teach Shintaro again and speaking of Shintaro, he forgot to ask Ryutaro about shin because maybe, Shintaro could be Ryutaro’s brother. But Ryutaro didn’t tell him if he has a brother before.
In school days, this is Yuto’s daily routine: home, school, bar, home. He got less time to accompany Ryu, Yuri, and Ryosuke since he’s busy with the band. On weekends, sometimes, he’ll play at the bar and sometimes just helping at the bar. The 3 friends of his are curious on where is Yuto going until the day that they followed him after school. and there, they found him entering the bar.
“what the heck is he doing inside the bar?” Ryosuke asked.
“let’s just go home. I don’t want to enter bars.” Yuri said.
“yeah, let’s just go home.” Ryutaro seconded but Ryosuke is still curious about it. she agreed to just go home but she told them she told her driver to pick her at shibuya so Yuri and Ryutaro can go home first. At shibuya, Yuri asked Ryosuke if she’s alright and the latter nodded and smiled at her. they waved goodbye and as the 2 figures are cannot be seen, she rushed in the bar to check on Yuto. She waited for the bar to open and entered. there, she saw Juri “again” clinging on Yuto while Yuto is talking to 4 guys. She ordered a drink but she only ordered strawberry juice her eyes are still pinned on Yuto and juri. Then she saw Juri releasing herself from Yuto and went to the stage. She announced that it’s already time. She was surprised when Yuto went up the stage and positioned himself at the drums.
The band started. There again, Ryosuke witnessed Yuto playing the drums. They’re playing “Our Story” by KAT-TUN and their voices are unexpectedly good. Yuto got a solo part and a thump in her heart was felt. Yuto has a very soothing voice. She then started to day dream about Yuto singing her a song not noticing that a bunch of guys are approaching him.
“miss, are you alone?” a tall guy asked. Ryosuke stopped to daydream and stared at the 6 guys surrounding her.
“will you please move? Can’t you see I’m watching the performance?!” he told them then the 2 guys in front of her moved back to let her watch the performance. She felt a hand on her shoulder and she smacked it away. Then she felt a hand again and she turned to them. “what?!”
“I’m asking you earlier if you’re alone. Do you want company?” the guy grinned at her. she knows something is wrong so she smacked away the hand and told them to go away.

On the stage, Yuto is observing the surroundings until he saw a familiar face in one of the tables. He saw a girl who looks like Ryosuke. But not like Ryosuke because it’s definitely Ryosuke surrounded by 6 unknown species. He can see Ryosuke struggling hard to shoo them away but the guys didn’t want to. the song is nearly to end. He signaled Shintaro that he’s going to play the next song. When the song finished, out of the plan, Yuto stood up and went down then Shintaro played the drums but it’s really supposed to be Yuto.
The next song they’re singing is, “One Love” by Arashi.

“will you stop bugging me!!!” Ryosuke stood up and shouted at them.
“easy girl, we just wanted to be friends with you.” The same guy told her.
“Friends you say, for your information, I-“ someone pulled her hand to make her turn around and in split seconds that person’s lips crashed on hers and the person is none other than, our drummer boy, Yuto. Ryosuke closed her eyes when she knew it’s Yuto and kinda responded to him. Yuto released her and wrap his arms around Ryosuke’s waist and told the guys, “if you may, stop picking on my girlfriend or you will regret it.”
Yuto grabbed Ryosuke’s bag, took her hand and take her out of the bar. Yuto’s grip on her hand is tight as if Yuto will never let her go. Ryosuke is just following Yuto even though, she don’t know where is Yuto bringing her but she trusts her so, she don’t mind.

The atmosphere is kinda not good. Since they went out of the bar, Yuto didn’t utter a word. She’s sitting at the swing since they’re now at a small park near a school and no car is passing by. It’s only the two of them there. Ryosuke can sense that Yuto is angry. Yuto is leaning against the slide just beside the swing and seems like he’s sending a message to someone.
“Anou… Nakajima-san?” she tried to start a conversation.
“What?” she got a cold response.
“Gomen…” she bowed her head down. she knows she need to apologize.
“for what?” still a cold response.
“because I went there alone…” she’s still have her head down. Mr. Silence passed by and no one talked.
“why did you go there in the first place?” Yuto asked her controlling his self not to shout at the latter.
“because we followed you after school and I saw you went inside and I got curious on what you’re doing there.” She confessed.
“CAN’T YOU SEE IT’S A BAR, YAMADA?!” he snapped. “YOU’RE A GIRL AND WENT TO A BAR ALONE! I BET NEITHER RYU NOR CHINEN KNOWS YOU WENT THERE!” yamada didn’t reply. “I’M THERE FOR 2 WEEKS ALREADY AND I KNOW EVERY COSTUMER’S BEHAVIOUR! YOU CAN JUST SIMPLY ASK ME AT SCHOOL IF WHERE I AM GOING AFTER CLASS, BECAUSE I’LL JUST SIMPLY ANSWER THAT I’M GOING AT THAT BAR, HELPING MY FRIENDS, TEACHING A BOY ON DRUMS AND PLAY ONSTAGE!” Yuto can’t control his anger anymore and shouted at Ryosuke. The latter is still bowing her head down but tears already rolled on her face. it’s the 1st time she saw Yuto got angry. She knows it’s her fault and Yuto got every right to get angry.
Yuto heard her sobs and guilt strike him. he wished he just controlled his anger instead of shouting at Ryosuke. Now, he can’t stomach Ryosuke’s cry. He squatted down in front of Ryosuke and trying to lift the latter’s face to look at him but Ryosuke don’t want Yuto to see her face.
“Yamada-san, gomen for shouting at you… I really didn’t mean it… it’s just that, I was just angry earlier because of what you did.” Yuto explained in a soft voice but got no response from the latter. He cupped her face with his hands and finally, Ryosuke lifted her head and their eyes met. Yuto smiled at her and gently wrapped his arms around Ryosuke’s neck and pulled her into a hug. “gomen…” he said. Ryosuke cried harder because Yuto apologized even though it’s all her fault. She hugged him back and kept saying sorry. Yuto patted her head and caress her hair and he can feel his shoulder getting wet because of Ryosuke’s tears.
Yuto released her from the hug and pulled away, a little. Ryosuke is facing him again and he wiped the latter’s tears by his thumb. “next time, don’t go to places like that alone, understand?” Yuto asked her still cupping her face and received a nod from the latter. He gave off a sweet smile again then kissed the latter’s forehead. Ryosuke was quite surprised of what Yuto did. She closed her eyes when Yuto kissed the tip of her nose until he reached Ryosuke’s lips. It was just a simple, gentle, sweet kiss. “I love you” Yuto said between the kiss and Ryosuke can feel butterflies in her stomach. Ryosuke responded and she remembered what happened at the bar. She thought that this kiss is much better than the other. She giggled between the kiss and Yuto released her.
“what are you giggling about?” he asked.
“nothing, I just thought about the kiss you gave me at the bar.” She giggled again her arms are wrapped around Yuto’s neck.
“you’re lucky earlier that I saw you from the stage. Because if I didn’t, I wonder what will happen.” he told her. “ah! By the way, I already sent a message to sensei that you’re with me so, I’ll walk you home. But it’s getting late now, so I think, we really need to go home.” Yuto stood up and offered his hand.
Ryosuke gladly accepted it and grabbed Yuto’s hand but she pulled him to her and whispered in his ear, “I haven’t given you my response yet…” she paused for a while giving a big question mark in Yuto’s head. “I love you too…” she then gave Yuto a kiss on the cheek then stood up. “let’s go?”
Yuto nodded and they went home hand in hand.
