(no subject)
After arriving in Amsterdam at 2 am, we had no place to stay... We finally found help from an old dutch man who got us a room for the night... England was too americana for us. After not sleeping 40 hours- a bed was welcome.
We found a place the second day with help from Noya, a friend we made from Israel... Our flat is above an Indian restaaurant and we have made friends with our land lord. Yesterday we found rooms for weary travellers just as noya did for us. Our landlord paulie was very happy with us, he invited us down for drinks and he filled our cups a few too many times!! All is well- a couple from Turkey we helped find a room has also become our friends- we showed them the town, (as we have explored it a lot and have become accustomed to the streets)and shared art. We have been making lots of art and are ready for the next town. On wednesday morning we will take the train to Geneva to visit rita. Paulie has informed us of places we can go and live for cheap- he knows people in India, greece and elsewhere...
