Day 09 - A song from your favourite band
This was a difficult decision. Mainly because I knew which band I was going to choose, but kept thinking: well, it's a bit strange to pick a Russian band, and now a well-known one, over Radiohead, U2, Coldplay, Portishead, Interpol, etc, etc.
I feel I have to give at least some kind of reasoning. So here it is
1. Songs by Торба-на-Круче leave as deep a mark in my soul as songs by all those great bands I mentioned earlier
2. If I was asked to name my favourite band in general, I would have a very tough time. If I was asked to name my favourite Russian band, I wouldn't have a shadow of a doubt
3. I just want to make this choice!
Note for English readers, if I have any. The name of the band if pronounced as Torba-na-Kruche; this is how the name of Bag End is translated in the best translation of Lord of the Rings into Russian
