(no subject)
Thing up/down thing LJ is doing is getting a little annoying that I'm close to saying just keep it down until the problems are taken care of.
Oh well, LIFE UPDATES! If LJ pulls through and posts.
My grandmother was in the hospital yesterday and today. My aunts have been noticing that she's started to sorta suddenly go south in her normal brain health. She's been staring into space more often, get confused with her surrounds, even hallucinate gun shootings or even earthquakes. So she's gotten a CT and a MRI.
I got to see the scans, and according to the doctor, both are very good scans compared to after her brain surgery, so the doctor thinks she may be having minor seizures that are causing her lack of cognition and her hallucinations.
So right now, she's being watched and is getting an EEG or whatever it's called. I thin she will be coming home tonight since my aunt took her walker with her to the hospital to get my other aunt (and take her to the airport since she needs to go back to California).
I don't know what's gonna happen until later. I'm scheduled to be looking after my grandmother here for the next week and then another week in August, but with this I don't know. My aunts are thinking of just putting her in assisted living because this is getting too difficult for everyone. Although, they are looking at a more religious home, since grandma is Catholic, and that would make her happier about Assisted Living.
AS FOR MYSELF, NOTHING INTERESTING except I want a P'zone from Pizza Hut for some reason.... .... So the usual.
That's all for the next week or so. Sorry Digi for not getting to talk to you on AIM since.. ... ... the funeral? I think. I'm gonna try to fix that this coming week.
