I hate when they look like Tarzan and sound like Jane.

So I finally found a job...as a telemarketer for the risk management firm my uncle works for...
and I really like it there, surprisingly. The people are great, and the work actually seems interesting;
well, thoughtful at the very least. So long as I'm not filing for those lame ass soul sucking lawyers.
I'm not against all lawyers...just those few...especially that one...bastard...anyway

I got the job and celebrated by going to Borders and picking out the biggest random book that I had never heard of before
and making it my own. I came out with "The Adventures of Augie March" by Saul Bellow. I picked it because it met my criteria
and was written the year my dad was born. Plus the pages are really nice. I't s a nice volume in general. But it weighs
in at a solid 570 pages...no war and peace, but like i said, never heard of it. I really hope there was a reason this
guy won the nobel prize in literature.

I also picked up slaughterhouse five recently for the book club...anddd....I'm halfway through it in a night and a half...it's that good
and i highly recommend it if you haven't read it. Bitchin story, cover to cover.

And I finally finished animal farm, which was also awesome, yet amazingly creepy and ominous.

All right, enough about books.

Brian came over to help record some stuff and test out various recording grades. I will say it now, and I will stick by it:
I will have some form of an album by the end of september. I figure if I get everything recorded by the time I go back to school,
I can finish up the mixing during september. The writing period is almost over, and I'm hoping to have between 8 and 10 songs.
Dear Lord.

And becky and I have been making dinner every night since we've been home, and we've only had one failure...my awesomely bad gnocci...
well, it wasn't that bad, it just...well I overboiled them, and they got really gooey on the outside...but they were still
good on the inside...either way, the night ended in me eating Wendy's.

Which to me, is a good night.
