Notes: As within the series, Alita is referred to as Milano, and Falis as Alita, their given forms after that wonderful body switch. And yes, I know I need to finish my pieces for the previous lightning round. It's a work in progress!
Milano wasn’t sure how much longer she could stand it. It was only the social customs that had been branded into her ever since she was young enough to understand that held her back. Alita never touched the lords or dukes. No, she would not do such a thing in court anymore. Far too many stern “warnings” from Jodo and Milano had ended that. No, she had taken to using her eyes to flirt.
Those red eyes that danced with a devil’s grin were more than up to the task. They never focused on the faces of the men for long, even if their wives trailed by their sides. They’d move up and down the body, as though appraising a piece of jewelry for quality. They’d linger over certain places, and, nodding her head, the message was conveyed.
Milano could not control the build up inside her. She wasn’t sure why she felt this way toward Alita. It was not becoming of the princess after all, even if that princess was in another’s body. If she had the courage, she would rush forth and drag Alita away. However, she could not bring herself to budge against the rules of the court, nor could she do it in front of Jodo. She had stood in the same position nearly all morning, and for her to suddenly say Alita was called away would seem more than a little strange.
No, it would have to wait until later when the two had some kind of privacy. Perhaps instead of helping Alita (not that she needed help) undress and remove her corset, her fingers might pull it tigher and leave the princess gasping for breath. Oh, it was cruel, but she could not stand how cruel Alita was being now, all without knowing it.
