Hot Chocolate Angel
Sparing another glance at her watch, Kanade groaned. It was getting late and if Yukino didn't come soon, they would miss the movie. Standing from the park bench, she huddled in her coat, glancing around in search of her twin. The wind was menacing, cutting through her clothes and straight to her bones. Cupping her hands in a desperate attempt for warmth, Kanade cupped them around her mouth and nose and blew. Once, twice, three times... Another shiver.
"Dammit," she grumbled.
Just when she decided she would become a human popsicle, a steaming cup of - sniff - hot chocolate appeared before her eyes, surely heaven sent to her. Turning to her side, she stared at the angel beside her, Yukino, blonde and giggly, and eagerly took the cup in her hands.
"Thank you," Kanade said, taking a sip and actually glad when she burnt her lip. The heat was delicious.
"Careful, neechan, it's hot," Yukino said, leaning into her sister and kissing the burnt lip.
Blushing brightly, Kanade almost dropped the cup in her hands in surprise. Mumbling to herself in embarrassment, Kanade didn't even notice her sister take her arm and snuggle against her.
"Let's go!"
"Uh, okay."
