Epiphany Moment
It suddenly hit me that I finally know what I want to do in my life
That I know my degree aint for naught
That I am able to combine what I like to do into the field that I would like to work in the next time
As said in twitter, I wondered if this is considered an epiphany moment
And it is! According to Dictionary.com, 1. (initial capital letter
) a Christian festival, observed on January 6, commemorating the manifestation of Christ to the gentiles in the persons of the Magi; Twelfth-day. 2. an appearance or manifestation, esp. of a deity. 3. a sudden, intuitive perception of or insight into the reality or essential meaning of something, usually initiated by some simple, homely, or commonplace occurrence or experience. 4. a literary work or section of a work presenting, usually symbolically, such a moment of revelation and insight.
The 1st 2 definitions are a little far fetched but true, it is like a revelation from God.
"initiated by some simple, homely or commonplace occurence or experience", this made me grin.
