INTRODUCING BEAST!FAIRYTALE (and no it's not Beauty & The Beast; that's so past tense)
It's called "The Adventures of Doojoon and His erm...Wooncorn" (okay I know stupid name)
Okay so erm...once upon a time, there lived a man named Yoon Doojoon. He's a sweet, gorgeous, gentle, HOT, sexy guy who is basically happy with whatever life has given him. But he had always felt a little lonely because there was never anybody that was able to fill this emptiness within him. So he lived life with this emptiness, pretty sure he will find somebody (soon).
On his way to work one day (he works as a PE teacher in some high school), he decided to take a shortcut through some dense forest for some reason (that I really have no idea why). Right in the middle of the forest, he saw something shimmery and was extremely shocked to find this:
![](http://a.yfrog.com/img401/2854/4uh.png)
(except no, it didn't had Woon's face there!)
And then he goes "OH EM GEE. HOLY (TOOT TOOT)" (sorry, must keep it family-friendly) because seriously he never believed that unicorns existed (okay, he might have once, when he was a kid) and there right in front of him lies a FREAKING UNICORN. (Never mind that it's staring at him with it's deep-set, gorgeous eyes that seemed to draw him in-HEY)
"I need to wake up from this stupid dream because there is no way a stupidly-white unicorn- OUCH! OUCH! OUCH! STOP IT!" because the unicorn had stood up and started to poke him furiously like it was offended by his description. But that's just not possible because unicorns weren't supposed to exist and understand human language and have emotions, right?
"Wait, I feel pain. ... WHICH MEANS ALL THIS IS REAL AND YOU...YOU...YOU DO EXIST!" There he goes gesturing and pointing at the unicorn like a retard and the unicorn made a sound and threw it's head back, probably offended and scoffing at this low mere human being stupid and all that.
But as stupid as he is, he doesn't fail to notice the trail of blood, barely seen on one of the unicorn's legs. "Are you erm...hurt?" He feels even more stupid because here he was talking to a unicorn (!) and not knowing whether it can understand him or reply back. The unicorn lowers it's head slightly at the question and Doojoon feels his heart aching a little for it.
"Hey, why don't I bring you back to my house and see that wound?" There's no harm bringing a unicorn back to his house, he's pretty sure...right? (even if he still can't wrap his head around the fact that unicorns do exist. Now he feels butthurt for all the teasing that he had to endure when he was 12 because of his firm conviction that unicorns existed. Or still exists. Whatever.)
The unicorn brought it's head up and stared right back at Doojoon, as if suspicious of this stranger's motives.
"Hey look I'm a good man okay." And he realized how stupid he sounds and really who believes a stranger, just based on a sentence as cliche as "I'm a good man."? "I don't know how to make you trust me but I just want to make sure you'll be okay. You don't want to know the bad people in this city that can do very bad things to you."
The unicorn eyed him again warily before stepping forward and bowing to him hesitantly. Doojoon decides to take this as a sign of it's (begrudging) willingness to follow him home.
So they trotted back home silently, Doojoon looking in awe at this beautiful creature and also making sure that nobody was around to witness this strange (for lack of a better word) scene. For some reason, he felt very very very protective of it and maybe he might be willing to risk his life to protect it- THAT'S RIDICULOUS.
Anyway, they reached Doojoon's house safely without much inconvenience (except when they had to enter the cramped elevator and they had a problem squeezing in which caused the unicorn to horn him again in frustration and him whining "HEY, IT HURTS OKAY :(") And then Doojoon took a look at the wound and cleaned it and bandaged it. After he was done, the unicorn licked his face happily ("EWWWW...I'M NOT A UNICORN, YOU CAN JUST ERM...SHAKE MY HAND OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT") and snuggled in a pile of blankets and pillows that Doojoon made for it on the floor.
He made sure that it was fast asleep before he went to work, the whole day thinking about the unicorn and he wondered how much of a lunatic was he really. The day passed like a blur and pretty soon he was out of the school and running all the way home.
He opened the door and went "HOLY (TOOT TOOT), WHO THE (TOOT) ARE YOU. WHERE'S MY UNICORN!!!!!!!" because standing right in front of him in the house was this drop-dead gorgeous person:
![](http://a.yfrog.com/img812/2122/onfy.jpg)
The person stared at him with a bemused smile and Doojoon felt his heart doing stupid acrobat acts because oh gosh, that eyes and smile-
"I'm not yours."
"...WHAT?" because seriously his mind has been turned into a puddle of goo and the only things he could remember are monosyllabic words.
"You may have saved my life but I'm certainly not yours to claim."
Doojoon blinked. The stranger stared back, his eyes boring deep. And then Doojoon saw the similarity and there he goes, gesturing and pointing wildly (again).
"YOU...YOU...YOU'RE A HUMAN!"
The stranger chuckled amusedly, "I've always been."
"BUT YOU...YOU...UNICORN-"
"It's a long story. ...but you can listen to me while I cook you something."
"COOK?!"
"Yeah, I can cook. Is that really a problem for you? And stop shouting, you're giving me a headache." When the stranger noticed that Doojoon was still standing with a stupid look, he sighed and pulled the other to a chair. (Doojoon just shifted his stare to their connecting hands and for some stupid reason, his heart starts racing)
"So...hi, my name is Son Dongwoon and I'm actually a prince of...some distant country-"
"Is it a magical country?"
"Yes. Erm...I was supposed to take over my father's throne but...something cropped up." Dongwoon frowned and Doojoon felt like bringing his hands up and wipe away that frown; for some reason he doesn't like it when Dongwoon frowned. "There was this wizard named Kikwang and he wanted me...erm to marry him."
"...Oh."
Dongwoon sighed before continuing, "I said no to his proposal and in a fit of anger, he put a curse on me. I turned into a unicorn but everyday, for an hour I return into my human form."
"...and what a fine human form it is." Doojoon murmured.
Dongwoon might have caught the statement but he went on. "Kikwang is extremely powerful so there's really nobody who can lift the curse from me...which is why I'm stuck as an unicorn." He lowered his voice when he ended and Doojoon felt this urge to hug him and tell him that it's okay, he's here to take care of him and he will love him forever- WAIT WHAT.
Doojoon cleared his throat. "So erm...there's really no way to convince him to lift the curse?"
Dongwoon scoffed and turned his eyes to Doojoon. "If there is anything about Kikwang you should know, it's that he holds a grudge worse than a spurned woman."
"...well, I can see why." there goes Doojoon's mumbling again.
"Actually...there might be a way to undo the curse. Hmmm...and you might be able to help me with it." Dongwoon said casually, as if he had practiced this for the millionth time.
"What?!"
"I can bring someone who's deeply in love with me to a duel with Kikwang. If the person wins, then the curse gets broken."
"...But I'm not in love with you!"
Dongwoon turned and cast his dark eyes seductively onto Doojoon and smirked. "You might as well be, from the way you keep staring at me. I know you want me..." Doojoon gulped and wanted to protest. "...a kiss will be rewarded to the person who wins Kikwang, you know..." Dongwoon whispered into his ears and slid a finger down, brushing his neck. "...and I might give more, since I like you too..." Dongwoon suddenly turned and walked away, leaving Doojoon to whimper (a bit) at the loss of contact "...but since you're not willing to-"
"I'll do it!"
Dongwoon smiled happily at him and his heart skipped a beat. Never mind that he has no freaking idea how to win some powerful wizard with a wand. Nor does he realized that he has no wand, no magic powers, no sword. Nothing in this world that can help him win. But it really doesn't matter when he has Dongwoon now.
"Oh...have I told you that he has a dragon?"
Ooh...tough luck then, Doojoon.
Apparently, this magical country that Dongwoon was supposed to rule over is beautiful and maybe Doojoon didn't mind staying here forever with Dongwoon- NO.
"DONGWOON!" A yellow flurry blur crashed into Dongwoon, causing the other to laugh heartily.
"Hi, Yoseob."
"I MISS YOU SO FREAKING MUCH! ARE YOU BACK HERE TO- Ooohhh, who is this delicious looking guy beside you?" The little creature winked at Doojoon.
"Erm."
"Doojoon, this is Yoseob, he's a fairy. And Yoseob, this is Doojoon, he's err..."
"OH I KNOW, HE'S YOUR KNIGHT IN SHINING ARMOUR, SAVING YOU FROM THE CURSE RIGHT! ...Except he's not that dashing and he looks a little bit weak-"
"YAH, I'M NOT THAT BAD, AM I?!"
"And he's whiny and noisy. Dongwoon, are you sure he can save you from the curse?"
Guess somebody forgot to tell Doojoon about Yoseob.
All the way to Kikwang's castle, Yoseob kept tweeting about the latest news in the kingdom like some fangirl flailing over Super Junior ("OMG YOU SHOULD HAVE SEEN DONGHAE, HE WAS SO HANDSOME.") and Doojoon resisted the urge to throttle and throw the small one into some tree hole. Plus, the nearer they were to the castle, the more scared and anxious he was because damn, he might get fried and die even before he can say anything to the wizard. But Dongwoon kept smiling at him and this was the only thing that kept him from turning and running his way home.
The first thing that he did when they stood in front of the castle was to gape at how huge it was. And when Yoseob told him all about Junhyung, the popping dragon, he wanted to puke and pretend sick, like what his student always do when they were lazy and wanted to skip PE.
But Dongwoon dragged held his hand and led him to the gates. He must have noticed Doojoon's hesitations because he turned to him and whispered "...It's okay if you don't want to do it, I understand."
Doojoon wanted so much to say "Okay, let's then go home." but he saw the look on Dongwoon's face and he felt his heart melting (again). "No, I'll do it. Trust me, I'll be fine."
Dongwoon broke into the smile that he likes (a lot) and just like that he quickly stole a kiss from the other. Dongwoon blushed and hid his face.
"Hey, lover birds! Junhyung is waking up now, get ready."
A loud roar sounded deep from the castle and shook the grounds. Doojoon really didn't like the sound of it.
Hiding behind the trees, Doojoon gulped at the sight of Junhyung. The dragon was red, huge and majesty (okay, he's just like any other dragon in fairy tales but Doojoon knew there must be a reason why he hated dragons when he was young). Junhyung kept roaring, breathing fire and stomping it's feet. Doojoon sort of imagined a whining man, bitching about everything, if the dragon had a human form.
"Okay, seriously, what chance do I have against that?"
"Zero- Ouch, Dongwoonie!" because Dongwoon smacked the fairy (lightly) in the head.
Doojoon took a deep sigh. "Okay, I'm going now." He stared at Dongwoon, wanting to get another look at the beautiful man before he get fried and eaten by some bitching dragon. He ran out of the trees and stood in front of the dragon. "HEY! STOP BITCHING!"
The dragon whipped it's head towards the voice and stared right at it. It gave him a bored look, as if saying that it's really bored with all of this but what the heck, it has to get this killing done and over with. It quickly swiped it's large claws in the direction of Doojoon and it takes all his strength to dodge it.
"HEY, WAIT WAIT WAIT!"
Surprisingly, the dragon stopped and seemed to take an interest into whatever he was going to say. Doojoon tried to get his brain working but really, there is a reason why he's not a lawyer.
"Erm...how long have you been in this castle?" he blurted.
The dragon scoffed, meaning that it didn't like the answer to the question.
"I gather it must have been many many many years? ...Many many many lonely years?" Seriously, Doojoon had no idea where all this was going.
But the dragon drooped his head slightly. Wait, was the dragon...sad?!
From the corner of his eyes, Doojoon noticed a pretty maiden sitting at the edge of the forest, curious at what was going on. She had curly orange-brown hair and her eyes were sculpted to perfection; she was very very very pretty. He didn't know how all this will work out but he might be able to shake the dragon off and enter the castle.
"Awww...poor thing. You must have been stuck in a castle without proper love and care, under a master who is erm...moody half of the time." Truth be told, he didn't know what sort of person Kikwang is but someone who has been rejected and keeping a grudge for thousand of years mustn't be too happy.
The plan seemed to be working because the more Doojoon said, the more Junhyung dropped it's head until it was sniffing and resting it's head on the ground.
"How many times have you wondered what's it like to have someone who loves you, take care of you and just be there for you?" Strange, this seems to be what Doojoon has been feeling all his life. He continued gently, "You want this emptiness in you filled, want the lonely nights to end."
He might be dreaming but he thought he saw a teardrop fall from Junhyung's eyes. Do dragons cry?
"Hey, you know what? This doesn't have to go on. Look over there." Doojoon pointed at the pretty maiden and the maiden widened her perfect eyes into orbs of adorableness. The dragon turned it's huge head towards her and the maiden shivered in fear at what the dragon might do to her, now that it has noticed her. But the dragon just stared and stared at her. Then it started shivering- no, giggling seems to be the right word for it by the sounds it was making, and waving its tail happily. (So...Doojoon didn't know that dragons behaved just like dogs; A tip he kept in his head.)
Then suddenly a huge burst of wind blew around the dragon and then...it was gone. In it's place, stand this:
![](http://a.yfrog.com/img694/8290/psxy.jpg)
"OH. EM. GEE." The pretty maiden cried out, staring at the human that just appeared out of nowhere.
The handsome stranger swaggered to her and with a low voice, breathed out "Hey babe, I'm Junhyung. And who may this pretty lady might be?"
The maiden giggled and blushed. "I'm...Hyunseung."
Junhyung brought her fingers up to his lips and kissed them softly. "Pretty name."
Doojoon wanted to stay and go awwwww at this scene unfolding in front of his eyes but Dongwoon grabbed him and together, they ran into the castle.
"You were great there, how did you know it wanted a girl!" Dongwoon cheered, his grin becoming more and more pretty and oh gosh, Doojoon wanted to keep this smile into his heart forever.
"...I didn't-"
"Whatever! You're amazing; I knew you were the one."
"I-"
"Dongwoon."
They both stopped when they heard the seriousness in Yoseob's voice. "He might be able to handle Junhyung but what about Kikwang? You know how powerful Kikwang is. How is Doojoon supposed to win him, without a wand and magic powers?"
Doojoon and Dongwoon looked at each other and fear glanced through Dongwoon’s eyes. Doojoon held his hand. “Hey I’ll be okay. I’ll fight him to my death and if I die, then maybe I’m not the one for you and you shouldn’t be sad at that.”
"I don't really care whether you're the one for me. Maybe we should just go back and forget about all this because...I might already love you and I don't want you to-"
"If you love me then I'll be okay. Trust me."
"I...trust you." Dongwoon said softly. Doojoon made to turn away and open the huge, wooden doors but was stopped by the hand grabbing him and a pair of lips on his. "Be safe." the other whispered.
Doojoon could only nod and blankly pushed the door open (with all of his strength. damn it, why must doors be huge, wooden and so darn heavy.)
He couldn't see anything, saved for the meager light that was from a few lighted candles. "Hello?"
"I see that Dongwoon brought a human to duel me. Is he trying to offend me?!" Many more candles suddenly lighted and Doojoon could see that he was in a large room devoid of furniture. He whirled around to see somebody coming out of the curtains that separated this room from another. And woah, the stranger was just as drop-dead gorgeous as Junhyung (in human form) and Dongwoon, (just that he was a lot more haughty-looking and hostile). What's with this country and their gorgeous inhabitants?
"...HI! YOU MUST BE KIKWANG! I'M DOO-"
"Pesky. You're already annoying me. Let me just finish you off and I can go back to my afternoon nap." He whipped out his wand and Doojoon almost didn't have time to dodge the green burst of light coming out of the wand.
Pink, purple, blue, yellow, orange, red; all sorts of color flew out of the wand and Doojoon might have been awed by this spectacular show that was better than any fireworks he have ever seen, that is if he wasn't running frantically around the room, trying to escape his death.
"HOLY (TOOT). STOP WITH THAT (TOOT), YOU (TOOT TOOT TOOT) MOTHER CHUCKER. OKAY WAIT WAIT WAIT!" He stopped, breathless in the middle of the room. Kikwang looked at him with a bored and annoyed expression.
"For a human, you're being really annoying and noisy. Are they all the same in the other world?"
"Okay, I'm going to die right? ...And no I'm not happy with it. But at least before I die, tell me what happened between you and Dongwoon." And he knew he had hit a nail, from the way Kikwang stiffened and looked away.
"Why should I tell you." It wasn't a question, that Doojoon knew.
He shrugged, pretending to be casual about it. "I just want to know. There must be a lot that happened for you to put a curse on someone you love for I don't know, thousands of years. Such things don't normally happened in my 'world', you know."
Kikwang weighed his options and probably decided that he didn't have anything to lose. "...We were friends in school-"
"Woah, you have school here?"
"Duh, of course. Where do you think I learned to control my powers."
"I don't know, like...instinct? Hey, do not give me that look! It's not like I have such powers or have friends as wizards. Though it must be pretty sucky to be friends with a moody wizard like you." The last line, Doojoon mumbled.
"Anyway, we were...best friends and we did everything together. Going for classes, playing truant, starting food fights, making up new spells...it was the best time of my life." Kikwang sighed and sat on the bare floor, his legs crossed, like a little boy. Doojoon took this chance to edge closer and sat next to him. Kikwang looked like he didn't mind too much. "Then...we both graduated, he turned 18 and was supposed to take over the kingdom. I knew this will draw us apart and ... I didn't want to lose him."
"...so you asked him to marry you?" Kikwang kept quiet, his memories coming back. "...and when he refused, you put a curse on him."
At that last statement, Kikwang turned to him and his eyes flashed angrily. "Don't you freaking dare judge me. You don't know how much it hurts, at that point of time. I just did what I was brought up to do."
Doojoon knew that he had to tread carefully, now that the wizard was getting angry but he had to move on. "...I don't think anyone was brought up to hurt somebody they love. Not even when they get hurt first." Kikwang kept quiet, his lips pursed into a straight line. Doojoon continued gently. "As cliche as it sounds, but when you love somebody, you would want him to be happy, even if his happiness is found somewhere else...or with someone else."
"I...I've never heard anyone tell me that before. I don't understand what you're saying." Kikwang peered back at him with innocent eyes.
Doojoon stared blankly back at Kikwang. "Erm...it's like...okay, is there someone you don't really like here?"
"Yeah, Lee Joon. He strips all over the place and he flirts with EVERYBODY, I'm pretty sure he's not a virgin-"
Doojoon cringed. "Okay, too much info. So pretending Lee Joon comes here and tells you that he is really in love with you and asks, no... a better word is, threatens you to marry him, will you feel happy?"
"EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW NO!"
"That's my point. Dongwoon wouldn't feel happy if he married you because he doesn't like you, in that way. He loves you, as a friend and that's the best thing he can give you."
Kikwang kept his head down and started sniffing. "But...I'm sad now."
"I'm sorry." And Doojoon really was. He pulled out a half-eaten bar of chocolate that thankfully wasn't melted from his pocket and gave it to the wizard. "Here, it will make you feel better."
Kikwang eyed the chocolate with a look of disgust. "It has the same color as shit."
Doojoon sighed and wondered whether it will be a good thing to stuff the chocolate into Kikwang's face. "It's delicious, it's my favorite food in the world."
Kikwang took the chocolate and ate it hesitantly. "Oh wow, this is nice. And sweet. Why do we not have such things here."
Beats me, Doojoon thought before clearing his throat. "So...will you lift the curse from Dongwoon?"
"No."
"BUT...BUT...BUT... WHY!"
"Because I like him as a unicorn. Don't you?" Kikwang asked quizzically.
"No, of course not!" Dongwoon was much better as a human. ....even if he was really beautiful and white as a unicorn, and haughty-looking and damn, that horn of his- STOP IT.
"I like his mane, it's all smooth and white and silky..." Kikwang said, all dreamy and wistful while licking the chocolate. Doojoon didn't know that even wizards had fetish and truth be told, his fetish for v-neck lines seemed mild and...normal compared to Kikwang's. Hmmm...imagining Dongwoon in a v-neck shirt and when he bend forward and his chest is- NOW IS NOT THE TIME TO THINK SUCH THINGS
He cleared his throat (and his head of distracting images of Dongwoon in a v-neck). "Erm...so why don't we cut a little bit of his mane before you lift the curse and you can keep it?" Doojoon doesn't really want to imagine what Kikwang might do. "Or you can always turn Yoseob into a unicorn. I know he will make a fine unicorn."
Doojoon laughed when he saw the way Kikwang brightened up at the suggestion.
So the curse was lifted. Junhyung was no longer a dragon and he lived peacefully with Hyunseung. Kikwang decided to open a farm of unicorns and Yoseob decided to help him with it, for some obvious reason. Dongwoon became king and Doojoon became his queen partner...
and they all lived happily ever after.
the end
