Spring Break's end

Apr 03, 2007 22:02

Though I can't really remember far back about how I used to spend my Spring Breaks, this year was definitely the best. :D

After a week (seemed like it was longer...) of finals, my final stress was worrying about the scrapbook for DCON. I finished it to the best of my ability with the time available, and Alan, Angela and I headed towards Irvine!
Spring Break got off to a good start with DCON. I've been looking forward to it ever since last year. I felt that I made an effort to talk to people this year. I was more familiar with the club and the people in it. Aside from a few disappointments, DCON as a whole was awesome. Strengthened some of the older friendships and started some new ones. Felt pride for our accomplishments.
DCON was over almost as soon as it started. Back to the valley! No sure plans, but most likely going to Disneyland. Other than that, I didn't plan on doing anything besides playing FF the entire week.

I really had no time to play it though (good thing!). The Monday afterwards, I went to the Quizno's where my sister worked, and she made me the sandwich she would stop being a vegetarian for. It was delicious (ToT) . I walked with her back home. Yay family bonding. Haha

Later that day I got a call from Alan/Helen :) Invitation to Six Flags with Circle K people?? Hmmm... OK!! What better time to go broke than after Spring Break. Haha. So Tuesday, I went to Magic Mountain w/ Helen and Alan, met Gail, Antonio, Winnie, Fong, and saw Victor again! The day turned out wonderfully. I feel as though I were timid, but I really enjoyed myself. So many pictures... so many memories.

A party of eight. :) Berkeley, SD, Riverside and LA reps haha

No one was the guy on the left... I don't even know that character...

Getting ready for Batman!

Fong, the guy left of Batman, is practically in love with Batman. HAHA (You can't tell from this picture, but he wore a Batman backpack the entire day. Aww)

Winnie and I were goofing around with the sunglasses XD

The girls :D

This is such a silly picture but I like the dramatic lines in it

Provocative..

Another cute picture

Me opting out of Superman... haha

Winnie is freaking strong! She walked up the entire hill with Antonio on her back XD

Waiting in the really long line for X.

On X. HAHAHA

As we had learned from the rowdy girls who took this picture for us, "It's too much rock for one hand."

At Hooters with our waitress. Oh God.. haha

Originally planned with Eleena and Crystal to go to Disneyland on Wednesday, but Eleena felt sick. Instead, I played a nostalgic game of DDR. Ah.. Boom Boom Dollar. Haha. I remember that was the first song I did while getting ready for the Formal at Kailen's house. :D
Anyway, they came over that night so we could be in one place and leave at the same time for Disneyland. We dyed Crystal's hair!

At the bank haha

Ah so happy :D

Before picture.

I forgot what the "P" was for.

After bleaching!

After it was dyed green :0

Unfortunately, I brought my camera, but forgot my battery charging at home! GAH! So there are no pictures at Disneyland, save for a few phone pictures. And a Buzz Lightyear thing, but I don't have one with them :(

I took a rest on Friday and did almost ... nothing. Haha. My dad had gotten home from Louisiana the night before, so I spent some time with him. :) Our conversations always tend to go to strange philosophical and self-reflective places.
I was doing some CK busywork (on the Sunday I got back, I spent 3 hours figuring out Andrew's spreadsheet so I could implement it with our system. IT IS SO GOOD.). I was to go to Steph's place for food and Wii! I rented a game for her. It was perfect! Cooking Mama: Cook Off. It sounds silly but it's so much fun. Ah.. Then a mass of people came over! Helen, Alan, Ben, Megan and Ryan.. Oh how little I see of the last three. It was nice to hang out with them after so long.

Ben's Mii

Ryan's Mii

Megan's Mii

Helen's Mii, which Alan designed.

Haha but he couldn't remember her birthday, so there was hell to pay XD

The Big Cheese.

Group shots!

Later, Steph and I played the Cooking Mama: Cook off game... I don't remember what I was cooking, but I got 100%! Yay! "You're a great chef!" Up to that point, it was the first time either of us did that well.

And amazingly, Steph got a perfect the next round! Yay!

I had gotten home so late afterwards.. but I went skiing on Saturday! The last time I had skied was probably 4 years ago. I was very anxious about going back up on the mountain... I'm sure my dad wanted to go on more difficult slopes but I was too fearful. I figured I should try something more adventurous, and so for my last run down, I went down one of the harder trails. XD I fell once... But it surprisingly didn't hurt. Only my pride did. HAHA Yay fun short skis.

The view!

And then came Sunday. Oh dreaded Sundays. It meant I had to go back to San Diego. :(
I'm sorry, I just really like being at home. Haha.

Back to classes

friends, games, picture entry, family, circle k
