Another weekend at an end

Keep Tryin' single

Anyway, I've come back to SD. We had my sister's b-day barbecue, I made her cake, my parents fought, we watched videos, found out my show "Beautiful People" is starting its second season Monday night, dyed my hair, saw Xl and Michelle, saw family, watched "Walk the Line", had a funky headache last the entire weekend which happened to move from one side of my head to the other, missed the Academy Awards, delayed on the Amtrak for 45 minutes which made me miss the end of the Academy Awards, and took a bunch of crap home.

I bought fruit and juice. Ah. Yay. And a new cell phone! Now I have one of those Asian flip phones... HELLOMOTO. Haha... man.. now I have to redo everything. I'm actually looking up ringtones since I can put music on there w/ some little card thingy?

Terrible... on her birthday, I saw her online, so I knew she ditched school.
But I found out today that her "friends" came over about 5am, and for some reason my mom believed that they were there to "surprise" Meredith and take her to Denny's. So she didn't let my sister know anyone was there. They go up to her room, open the door, rip the sheets off her bed and kidnap her. Like... umm wtf?
She told me later that she was so upset. She was only in one of her cami tops and her underwear... so wtf?
I didn't think Denny's would accept that sort of clothing? But the worst part had to be the fact that they threw her in the car trunk (all they needed now was some duct tape and a blindfold). JESUS. She was probably barely awake and didn't know who was taking her and her freaking mother let some (probably idiotic [Meredith's 'girlfriends' are so damn weak and small that they couldn't have picked her up]) boys kidnap her. Of course my mom didn't know what they were going to do, but "eh", right? It's totally not unusual for people to come over at 5am to do something.
Now my sister is traumatized. And she didn't go to school after that. God damn. If I knew which "friends" of those they were, I'd like to kick their asses. That's got to be the most idiotic thing I've heard in a while.

[Edit: By the way, this is not one of those cute little Girl Scout things where they go to you on your birthday and wake you up, "Oh, hee hee we're taking you to Denny's! Get your robe!"
This is: barge into your room while you sleep half-naked and have a bunch of people rip you out of bed when you have no idea what's going on and take you to a restraunt where you won't eat anyway.]

Yay being protective of siblings!

weird, sister
