Kendra's year of 2012
I am pretty sure no one is going to read this so I'm just going to make a ranting post for myself lol
Let's see where do I begin...this has been one of the worst years of my life so far. I transferred from this school that just did not work out. There were WAY TOO MANY girls at this school but it makes sense since it was an all girls school orz. Then around sometime in May my father had to leave from work to have surgery done on his hip. It took him about two months to recover and then he had to have surgery on the other hip around August. During the summertime it was just him and I in the house most of the time and we butt heads A LOT. I couldn't find a job during the summer and income was very tight and that's putting it lightly. Yes, my father had disability checks coming in but it took so long for them to come and the only other income was from my mother's job. Neither of my parents make good money and many times I would not have food to eat. Anyways that's a story for another time though. So back to his surgeries. After the second hip surgery he had to spend another two months out to recover. After the two months were up we thought everything was all fine and dandy until we discovered that he needed yet another surgery on his shoulder...too many surgeries right? When we found this out it was maybe around November and then later we found out that he could not even have his surgery until December 17th. Then about a week ago my mother had a check up at the doctor and they discovered a spot on her lungs that might be cancerous. She is going to have to have surgery sometime soon as well but it has not been scheduled yet. My parents aren't the only ones who have been in the hospital this year though. I was in the hospital my self this year because I had a severe skin infection on my arm. What made it so bad though was that I was in the hospital around my birthday. Also my grandmother has been in and out of the hospital all year long. She has been in the hospital for at least the last two months. The doctors had a hard time figuring out what was wrong with her only to find out that she has lung cancer. Unfortunately, the doctors said that in her old age it would be risky/dangerous to have chemotherapy so, basically she has to live out the rest of her days with no treatment. I know that this isn't exactly in chronological order but nothing has been making sense to me these days so please bare with me. If anyone does happen to come across this then I am sorry I made you read all of this. Sadly this isn't all that has happened and so I am going to finish this in another post...
