More Irrational Reactions
so ausiello posted scoop about the title of the season finale of bones that suggests that they'll hook up in the season ender.
and my reaction was this: i literally said fuck you out loud and started tearing up.
why: because everyone knows booth and bones will end up together, it's not even a question. They are endgame and they always have been.
I don't do fandom for anything else it's just House. I've tried with other shows, but there's none that have gotten to me or stayed with me like that of the journey between House and Cuddy.
So when I saw this news of them probably getting together in the season finale it invariably reminded me of Help Me. And now, it just hurts too much.
There was so much potential that's all squashed now.
And Bones and Booth shippers have always had it so easy because it's been predetermined. Yeah, they might have had some potentially serious relationships with others, or been waiting too long, but Booth and Bones have always been a sure thing. Just like Castle and Beckett, it's not a question of if, it's a question of when. Because both of those shows focus is on the pairing of a male and female team with sexual tension. THAT IS THE BASIS FOR THESE SHOWS. The thing about House and Cuddy is House M.D. is a show about a misanthropic, miserable, nihilist doctor. His relationship with Cuddy is something that evolved on the periphery of the show, and evolved so much that it had to integrate into the main narrative of House's journey. Booth and Bones have always been a sure thing. House and Cuddy have not. and now, i'm questioning the endgame status of this couple. Especially with Dominika, with rumors of her sticking around for next season, i just... i can't even. it hurts too much.
