Oh good! you got a dl link. I never know how people are able to find them so quickly. (btw, I hate professors who take attendance. Hate it. Had a few language classes that did so for "participation" grades but they were never too evil; I had an english prof who loved the power of it; she was awful... so yeah, that sucks. hope your new job goes/is going well!)
I loved the patient; although, I really like Amy Irving so it would have taken me a LOT to not like her in this. I'm actually enjoying the patients we've been getting so far; the episodes seem very balanced this year, which is great.
I LOVED the house/cuddy stuff. I am absolutely loving their conversations together. It's not perfect or idealized but it's just them -- and it shows me that the show thinks this relationship is important and they're continuing to treat it as such. I'll be a cornball with you because, yeah, it was beautiful. They're just amazing.
Confusing compatibility with common interests. YES. This.
My only complaint so far: these episodes are filled with scenes I want to see, too (House giving her the flowers, Wilson talking to Cuddy --about anything! but especially double date & the fact that House is worried).
lol - I'm totally folding on spoilers; I'm watching all the sneak peeks, etc. All my willpower for the season is gone, obv. But I think it's enhancing the experience :D
They so need to stop taking advice from Wilson. Thrice-divorced man is not your go-to guy for relationship advice. Except, perhaps, on what not to do. And it isn't that I hate Sam exactly, it's that I wanted more for WIlson's little empowerment arc; I don't see what going back to his first ex is going to do, exactly. But we learned tonight that she is CRAZY -- so, yeah, I'm seeing a pattern with all the women WIlson has married/dated (and what he sees in House, too :)) So I definitely get "them" more now, so that's good. And Wilson fails at everything; poor guy (his parents didn't let him drive go karts?! says so much)
Cuddy was a doctor! Ducklings! taub getting indirectly told he's a dick and his wife secretly hates him: A+ THIS!
The last scene with the patient and House and Cuddy -- so amazing.
And I don't get the title reference. Not that should surprise me as I am utterly failing at all references lately :D
ooh! chocolat! love that movie! it always makes me, well, want chocolate. and/or johnny depp. oof, i'm sleepy; getting punchy :)
because it's community college and age ranges from 15 (seriously, some sophomore in high school is taking spanish 3 for credit) to like 65 there's a former UC english professor in our class that says she's an awful teacher, and she's tired and needs to retire. she's just bad.
amy irving was bad ass.
oh, i'm a giant spoiler whore major. I wish i could not click the links, but it's just so hard. a;lskdjf
the reference is to Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century. (adding major and minor to adjectives) ingenuity minor, aunt judy. haven't gotten around to Chocolat yet, but i got it in the mail through netflix today, so i have to watch it eventually.
15?! wow. Sounds like the whole class is bonding over how awful the teacher is, so that's something. I took my math and science classes at community college b/c the teachers were better (much better; some were really tough but they were all very good) so it's really too bad she just can't retire.
amy irving ftw! we saw a lot of her, too, and a lot of her w/ house. always a good thing.
right? the links are just sitting there and there's all this keysmash and dozens of comments . . . and I fold. every time. (and I know I need to be prepared for where the relationship is going because I'm so not going to be able to handle it "live" if something happens...that I don't want. this season is killing me; they're amazing and gorgeous and funny and I'm not sure I can imagine them not like this anymore :))
