Haters to the left. Seriously. If you didn't like this episode LEAVE. This episode, holy bajoly. [H]ouse, you really know how to end with a bang. No really.
I'm sitting here, when I should be writing an essay on J. Alfred Prufrock but how the heck can I do that when I've just watched this episode??
The Style of the Episode:

So thank you TV for scheduling finales with my finals, that's so convenient of you.
Oh Alvie totally is like Lucas. I remember when I liked Lucas. those were fun times. Super fun times. So sad.
Oh and House saving that text, yeah I totally thought the same thing, that he'd give it to her when they were together. It's going to be another fucking desk. It's just going to happen and not another word will be said about it ever. Can we just point how freaking romantic this man is?
-The desk & the book, two objects. Two singular objects that would otherwise have no meaning to anyone else, yet this man, this screwed up and incredibly self-centered man saved them for her. Who knows her better than he does? Who would think to do something so romantic if he didn't know her better than she knew herself. Sprinkles anyone????
I think they have missed their moment. and that's entirely the show runners fault. they had something with the potential to be great and let it sit on a shelf and its moment passed it by for fear of moonlighting. It's like getting a really great present but never play with it because you want to save it for a really fun day, and then you forget about it, and when you find it under your bed 10 years later the perfumes in the perfume making kit have expired but you still try to play with it but you end up smelling like sh*t. (can you hear the bitterness of a true story?)
Anyway, I'm hopeful that they will still have their moment just because of your amazing use of quote-age:
Pam: I haven’t heard anything. But I bet Jim got the job. I mean, why wouldn’t he? He’s totally qualified, and smart, everyone loves him. And if he never comes back again, that’s okay. We’re friends. And I’m sure we’ll stay friends. We just … we never got the timing right. You know? I shot him down, and then he did the same to me, but you know what? It’s okay. I am totally fine. Everything is going to be totally …
Jim: Pam. Sorry. Um, are you free for dinner tonight?
Pam: Yes.
Jim: All right. Then it’s a date.
Pam: I’m sorry, what was the question? (The Job)
THAT'S HOW THIS HUDDY DRAMA NEEDS TO END. If you're going to compare timing of Jam to timing of Huddy and it ends up the same then I'm fine with it!
Also these gems;
Jim: I was just, um… I’m in love with you.
Pam: What?
Jim: I’m really sorry if that’s weird for you to hear, but I needed you to hear it. Probably not good timing, I know that, I just-
Pam: What are you doing? What do you expect me to say to that?
Jim: I just needed you to know. Once.
Pam: Well, I, um-I can’t.
Jim: Yeah.
Pam: You have no idea-
Jim: Don’t do that.
Pam: -what your friendship means to me.
Jim: Come on. I don’t want to do that. I want to be more than that. [reminiscent of Huddy?????????]
Pam: I can’t. I’m really sorry if you misinterpreted things. It’s probably my fault.
Jim: Not your fault. I’m sorry I misinterpreted our friendship. (Casino Night)
I forgot where I was going with this. all i know is that if Cuddy does marry Lucas at least we know it won't last and if it does, fuck david shore for making the ONLY UNIVERSALLY DISLIKED couple last. (and yes i know that some people do like Luddy, but really it's only the fans who watch the show crazy a lot and not the 99% of the majority that are casual watchers.)
anywayyyyy good luck with finals!! can't wait for next week!!!!!!!!!

I'm not totally sure that they missed their moment yet(again, I'm waiting for the finale). At the end of season 5 I actually wanted Cuddy to be in a relationship with someone new for part of season 6, just to see how she functioned (or didnt function) in one. I also didnt want House and Cuddy to get together right after House got back from Mayfield, but at the end of this season. But then the Lucas arc happened, and we don't even get to see her in a relationship anyway, and its just so painfully obvious that he's only there to keep them apart. So in theory it was a good plan, but not in practice. I actually heard that FOX told TPTB to delay it one more season (idk if its true) so I wont totally blame DS and Co. ...yet, but Lucas has definitely overstayed his(non)welcome. But yea, even if I find they have dragged it out too long I will still want them to simply because they're my OTP for life even if I wish I couldnt care about them. Also, it doesn't really matter what is written because whenever HL and LE are in the room together there's chemistry. They have made so many scenes that were not written very well into fantastic House/Cuddy moments.
Oh Pam. I love her. She was so cute in that scene, and the smile on her face when Jim asked her out and the "what was the question again," was one of my favorite tv watching experiences ever. I was estatic and I'm pretty sure I screamed "yes!" (and my parents were like wtf? lol). DS should watch the office and take notes! This is how I want it to happen! (Only I kinda think Cuddy should ask House out/make the first move, the ball is in her court completely right now)
OMG the Casino Night scene is one of the best scenes on tv EVAR. And I totally agree with you about the Huddy parallels with that scene, especially after that scene in The Choice.
Lol people like Luddy? I honestly wasn't aware. I'd imagine the majority of them are Hams or hardcore Hilsons who simply want to keep Cuddy away from House. But yea, the internet fandom really only represents like 1 or 2% of the total viewers who actually watch the show. I think somce casual viewers dont really care either way, but others I've spoken to hate him. I think it'd be very interesting to poll everyone who watches House and see their shipping/character preferences.
Okay sorry for another long post, can't you tell I REALLY dont want to study? lol.
