I am the Marketing Manager for Borders in NYC, and I was browsing the forums to guage interest in the Keane performance and signing, and I noticed some confusion about the wristbands, and I wanted to make everything clear:
Wristbands will be available at the Columbus Circle Borders ONLY starting on Friday at 8am. The store is in the Time Warner Center, between 58th and 60th Sts. on the West side of Manhattan.
Wristbands will be given to those who have purchased a copy of UNDER THE IRON SEA at any Borders store (on sale for $11.99 in NYC). If you purchased it at Borders prior to Friday, make sure you have your receipt.
There is only one wristband per person to be given out, and you must be present to receive one. They will be numbered to ensure place in line.
There are a limited number of wristbands, and it is first come, first served.
The performance is in the mall, so it is open to the public. Those with wristbands will get VIP viewing prior to the signing.
Keane will sign copies of Under the Iron Sea ONLY, and there is a limit of two per person.
Photos will be allowed only after getting your items signed. We will set up an area for photos.
