wow! first I want to thank you for such a fantastic comment, and that I'm incredibly flattered you think such lovely things about my writing.

for this, I almost categorized it as bandfic, because I really wanted to have the sense that it was super junior coming together in the wake of all the drama that they've had, and then within that heechul and eunhyuk sort of falling into place. Also I love all the boy so much, I just want to write them all forever ;_;. And I'm glad you liked my dialogue, because I worried about it, that it was too vague or that it pushed the members into a two dimensionality.

hyukchul is sort of a lovely relationship, because they have both admitted to not understanding each other, but being close despite, or even because, of it, and their loyalty to super junior. your criticism is totally spot on, and after posting this I came back and sort of frowned because it needs one more scene right where you said, to kind of tie everything together and wrap it up. I'm considering writing a little snippet-y one shot hyukchul kind of thing that fits into this fic and fleshes it out better, makes it more rounded.

I think you should try to write a hyukchul! I'd be interested in reading it, there's just not nearly enough hyukchul around :(.

no, thank you for your fantastic response! (i love it when i come home to find longer messages in my lj inbox!) :) and i think those things because they're true, really.

i think that's a good point, about this being almost-bandfic. that might explain better why i like it so much, even? i feel like super junior is so holistic that to write a solely pairing-driven story is to kind of fall flat and starve the story's potential. i think the charm of super junior is all of their relationships with one another and the group dynamic, more so than their individual talents or activities? and nooo, i loved your dialogue. it takes talent to convey so much with so little. i'd actually say that's one of your strengths! except the whole fic was strong, lol.

lately i've been obsessed with FYHC because seeing hyukchul moments all compiled like that, and how gloriously alive and ridiculous they are when they're together, is really something. i hope that my criticism didn't come off as overly critical! really, it was a very small distraction in the grander scheme of your story. the part before the last two sentences... i think i just wanted more content there seeing as i liked your writing so much and i'm greedy like that. though, if you're going to write a one shot because of my criticism, i won't complain. :P

you're too kind! i wouldn't really subject you to it. especially since your writing is so good, haha. i agree with you on the lack of hyukchul! although, i finally sorted my (too many) memories, and i think i had a whole 17 hyukchul fic? all really good ones, too. i feel like i read so much more fic for other pairings, but they're generally hit or miss. with hyukchul, i think i've memmed nearly every one that i've read. i guess the pairing just has quality writers!

whoops sorry for the late response, I was in the midst of midterms.

I agree! I think what a lot of fans love about super junior is that they seem very much to be tight, and that many fans love not just siwon or heechul but SUPER JUNIOR, and adding elements of band into shipfic enriches the work. And I just love bandfic to death so it wasn't hard to be motivated into incorporating that love. :))

No no, I really liked your criticism and I think you were right. If i can make myself get inspired I think I will write a little insert of some kind between Heechul writing be happy and the kiss, i do think that feels like a bit of a hole.

yeah, there is a very high percentage of quality hyukchul fic I am just greedy and want MOREEEEE.
