I still say this...is beautiful. It has heart and sweet moments in all the right places, and Tezuka's personality shines through wonderfully. The relationship is believable; you can actually see (or rather, read) it blossoming subtly until it reaches that intimate level before either of them realize it has gone that far. ^^
Generally, OCs are often catergorized as 'ZOMG!!!one!A mARy suE!!', but Liang falls far from that category (thank goodness!). She has her shortcomings and certainly her fair share of strong character morale. This...THIS is how OCs should be written; human and still loveable and able to interact with the other characters in a certain fandom without belittling them or forcing them to fall down at her feet in worship.
But what I liked was the fact that you kept Tezuka IC even as he falls in love. Yes, we all acknowledge he's stern and unyielding (toast, don'cha know? >D), but if anything, it makes this piece of fiction all the better. Watching (or again, reading) how the stiff buchou yields to Cupid's arrow is lovely. Also, it proves that Tezuka does in fact possess emotions, but I will not go into that.
All in all, this was a magnificent ride, flowy with the right pace and setting as well as spot-on characterizations. Well done!
(And...because I just CAN'T end any comment on your fics without this; HERE, HAVE MY BASES! TAKE EMMMM! XDDDD)
*hugs* Thank you for all your supportive words, pal. :) I owe this to you honestly - doubt if I would have had the guts to post it if you hadn't poked me... so truly, thank you. :)
