Fires.

I lived in Chula Vista for 21 years. It's all on fire right now. It's already worse then the Cedar Fire. It's so numbing, it's only been 4 years. I'm fine, I live currently to very very northeast of downtown San Diego, like 10 minute drive on city streets, so I'm in no danger at all. If I lived where I did in Chula Vista still though, I'd be at a very high risk for evacuation.

I went to San Diego last year for the Comic Con.. beautiful place.

Are YOU? Have you had to evacuate yet? I, personally, am not near these fires.

We haven't had to evacuate yet, but it's starting to smell quite smokey. There apparently is a fire right here in San Marcos, but it isn't spreading, as far as I know.

It's not too smokey here, but the smell is everywhere. Is it raining ashes there?

It's like 2003 on steroids. I remember having to evacuate last time and I lived in the MIDDLE of a neighborhood. I live in Pasadena now thankfully. You couldn't even tell there were fires if you didn't watch the news.

Man, that sucks to here that it's so close to where you use to leave. I bet you have a lot of memories there.

Nearly every school in San Diego county was closed. They must be on crack up there or something!
